Their speed on the wings plays into Portugal's weaknesses very well.

Everybody was talking about Fabian Johnson's bombing runs down the side. Well, the Ghanaians are built to do that, too, probably better than we are.

Part of the reason the US had an ugly win over Ghana is that the game plan called for a target forward, and the only one on the roster came off with a hamstring strain 20 some odd minutes into the thing. The game plan fell apart, and since Bradley was having a bad night, there was no plan B.

The other part is that Ghana are just a really talented, speedy bunch.
