This, hope we hear something today.

by the sounds of it moyes has given caen and niang a deadline of today to decide, if he is not on a plane by this afternoon then the deal is off . moyes does not want this to drag on and there for its make your mind up time , the offer has been on the table for 5 days now .

Alan Nixon suggesting we've given Caen and Niang a deadline of today to get it done as our bid is getting used as benchmark for negotiating with others. Would make sense - but then again a good way of him backtracking if it doesn't go through considering on Saturday night he said it was a done deal. Let's hope if its true and we're gonna play hard ball we stick to it otherwise we become an easy target for being messed around in the negotiations of other and future deals.

to be fair alan nixon was the one who broke the story in the first place

Looks like the player will get what he wants then (shockingly). If we pull our bid, the only bid on the table is Milan's. I think the club are right btw, it's dragged on long enough.

If Caen are firm and say they will 100% not be accepting Milan's loan offer, it would help push through the deal with us, as Niang is obviously interested in us, but has one eye on Milan.

But even he surely does not want to miss out on the opportunity with us, for the possibility of a money offer from Milan that might not even materialise.

Good play by Everton, also gives us the chance to switch to other targets this week if Niang does not come.

As has been stated many times, Alan Nixon is one of the least accurate journos out there, a total charlatan.

He was saying we were on the verge of signing Charlie Adam last week, and this is on top of years of him spouting untrue guff for his own ends. The man knows nothing.

dont think he said we were on the verge , said there was an interest and to be honest would not be surprised if he did end up here
