I've no idea if that is true but if it is why not ? Nobody that I can see has sought to try to push through a deal , certainly in our case we wanted to look at him on trial before we committed , thats even if we want to commit to a deal now. So nobody wants the lad 'enough' to really go for him , in which case not only are the players representatives within their rights to shop around they'd probably be failing in their role if they didn't.

I'd give up fighting this point mate. People hate agents and that opinion won't be changed.

But I agree. You'd have to be an awful agent to not parade one of Europe's hottest prospects around to get the best deal.

I don't think it's all about getting the best deal for the player /agent), as the lad himself was reported as being happy with the idea of going to Milan after visiting there. The issue was the deal that they were prepared to offer his current club. The lad has been hawked around in England post that, so the agent is obviously trying to get someone to get close to Caens valuation.

The same Milan that made £50m+ in transfers while shifting 350k /week wages off their bill? They may be skint but considering they're Milan and that they must have some money to spend I'm sure they'll be able to nab the lad off us if they wanted him enough. Really hope that we manage to pull off this deal though.

Do you have a facial expression, on how confident we will sign this kid?

Yes mate that's probably right , although I imagine he's looking for the best 'package' as well . The post I replied to was describing the agent as 'touting' him round which obviously has negative connotations . For the life of me I just can't see what they are doing that's 'wrong' to be honest.

I've got no issue with it mate. The press hype around this lad is massive, so I don't quite understand the trials though, that's odd as far as I'm concerned. It's like us trying to offload Barkley & Juventus offering him a 3 day trial before deciding whether to bid - we'd tell them to get fooked.

I don't see the problem, if he's had trials with us Arsenal, Tottenham, and probably AC Milan, then there is going to be some competition but it seems like Arsenal and AC Milan have already bowed out of the race considering they were linked a while ago and haven't made the news since. I still feel confident of us getting him.

I wasnt for a second saying it was negative, its the equivilant of just shopping around really. He would only be working in the players interest.

For those asking about Niang he impressed during his trial last week & it's now up to Moyes whether he wants to try and pursue a deal

Maybe we'll get a chance to ask him after the game tonight #EFC #M'Baye Niang

So he'll be at the game today? This deal is looking very positive so far.

cant see us spunking all the rodwell money on both mirallas and niang

leaves us short in defensive options unless he plans on giving hibbert, distin, heitinga and neville 30 games + each, and they all had shocking periods last season.
