I seem to recall that at Caen when he first emerged and we were very interested he played as a central striker but when he chose Milan over us he was converted into a striker who mostly played wide.

He was going to be the next big thing but his career appears to be on the slide.

He clearly has talentbut if as others have said he has an attitude problem I am suprised that RK wants to take him on.

If he is Kone's replacement and will start on the bench , fine , anything else I just don't get it.

£15m or so is no longer a big fee as of June 2017. The market has inflated so much in the last 12 months.

Niang is 22 if things not going well you can still sell him for a fee. Kone was 29/30, £6m was a big fee at the time back in 2013.

Seems a high fee for someone they have been trying to offload since at least Jan.

He's a show pony from what other fans have commented (Watford) and when ive seen him occasionally for Milan he looks a bit like a Kanu/Bolasie hybrid.

For Watford it looks from clips that he was double marked and seems to have all the talent but it just hasn't clicked for him

Could be a world beater or a total donkey, who knows?

Yes but if we are going to compete with the likes of City , Arsenal , Chelsea etc we need game changers from the bench and decent back up.
