Yes, the ineptitude and mismanagement of the club over the last 25 years is criminal and has certainly harmed our PR profile no end.

But it still doesn’t explain how and why ex RS players with their biased views have pretty much cornered the pundit market- even in relation to other so-called “Big 4” clubs. It’s astounding.
All we hear is klopp all the games they have to play etc etc yet we have played 3 times since they last played but we won't hear a squeak about that

Liverpool have won more European Cups than any other major club in England and are soon to have as many league titles as anyone else once more. They are the most successful club in England. It doesn't really surprise me that the media is over-populated by them and United. There is no doubt the media is biased, but it's not some conspiracy. It's the media catering for the lowest-common denominator.

Whilst some of them no doubt have something of interest to bring to the table (Hansen back in the day focusing on the defensive side of the game, Carragher’s delivery although he’s not everyone’s cup of tea...), it’s a pretty impressive list of gobshites.

Nobody’s talking about a conspiracy but the disparity is pretty striking.

Compared to a club of similar stature and history like Man Utd, the RS are massively over represented.
And it’s not as if they’re all gifted wordsmiths with insightful expertise.

We have gone second and won four games in a row and it's barely been mentioned. Even Sky sports news were saying Liverpool could go seven points clear today like we don't exist.

exactly.
Let us stay under the radar. The longer we go unnoticed the better.

Remember, our next 7 are

City H
West Ham H
Wolves A
Villa A
Leicester H
Leeds A
Man Utd A

if we want to be taken seriously, in 7 games time we need to be in and around the area we are now. They’re very difficult games, we’re halfway through a ridiculously hard run, so need to capitalise.

Preston won the league and FA cup in 1888/89

Did they press praise them?

No..They just went on about Jack the Ripper (He was a kopite)

Trying to think of the reps from the team of the last 2 decades.
Gary Neville
Keane
Evra
Ferdinand
Evra
Saha

Consider that United have dominated the Sky era, that its 2 to in LFCs favour before you even start on the print media is a little bit odd.

Agree mate I am not getting carried away, I still see us as in a fight for EL places myself, but some teams get praised constantly for less than we have done so far.. Leicester were called title contenders yesterday how many points do they have? Who beat them recently?Of course there are still tough games to come that run is tough and we are lacking key players so it will be tough to maintain with our thin squad, but the complete disregard is ridiculous at times. But yes if it works to our advantage good.

Manchester. Utd are the biggest team globally, but domestically Liverpool are the biggest team, and why litter the tv with Sunderland or West Brom pundits when the biggest audience want to “relate”.

That said, some of the dross like McManaman, Murphy, Ferdinand and Redknapp deserve no part on my TV.
But take away the top players and people like Liane Sanderson who literally has a face and is raging whenever she’s on tv or Clinton Morrison, o have no hope that Sky will stop using them.

Scholes, Hargreaves and P Neville aswell do get some pundit jobs but yeah generally you are right LFC are the golden team for most media. It's sickening. Turned on five live before it was all about how fantastic LFC are and they weren't even winning at that point.
