Lmao unbelievable, if Liverpool win today they go 7 points clear, do they get 5 points a win now.
Just said that on SSN
We talked about Liverpool and you think they win the league and Leicester and Utd in 3rd and 4th, we talked about City and we talked about Chelsea and we havnt talked about Tottenham yet. Gabby A interrupts and Everton who are 2ndWe don't count/exist, so it's 7 clear of utd isn't it?
One more reason I don't subscribe to Murdoch's shoite.
Just going to say this, fair play to him, make the most of it though, probably your last app on sky for saying this.We talked about Liverpool and you think they win the league and Leicester and Utd in 3rd and 4th, we talked about City and we talked about Chelsea and we havnt talked about Tottenham yet. Another cple wins for Arsenal and we will be further down the list lol
Every clubs fans are convinced the media hate them and out to get them, even Liverpool fans.
Its a bit tedious tbh
I understand what your saying and I agree, it would be nice to get a bit of credit now and again, not even that today, it was more that today though, it’s as if we don’t even exist, going on about the RS going 7 points clear and City are 2nd. Terrible JournalismIf we're top four by the end of January, we'll be included in top four talk. Evertonians have a terrible tendency to get carried away on a good or bad run. We're the worst team in the league when we lose three, and we're CL contenders when we hang on at Sheffield United. Anthony Gordon is the new Wayne Rooney when he's out of the team, and Glen Keeley when he gets his place.
Sky, and the rest of the media, dismiss us because we've never been anything more than a flash in the pan in the PL era. We don't do consistency. We've never been set up for it. That may be changing now, though, but it will take time to feed through to the media. Staying in the top six between now and May and following up with a big summer window will go a long way to changing our profile.
Kenny is far more fitter & agile than Bale who is practically finished...It’s not media bias to think other sides will finish above us. When Spurs are bringing Bale on to play left wing, we are bringing Jonjoe Kenny on.
Top 6 would be an amazing season.
It's Sky, expect no more. To them, we don't exist. While we, as fans, have always seen the club as one of the aristocrats of the game, the truth is we've been in a coma since 1988, with a very brief resuscitation in 1995 before a return to the crypt where the bones of Sir John Moores were laid to rest. The media, in general, even the so-called high-brow fringe (the Jonathan Wilsons of the world) were sneering at us singing James and laughed off the idea of us snaring Carlo, but that's not dislike of us. It's simply a reflection that these moves by the club are completely out of character with the Bill Kenwright years, and they don't believe them until they see them. Furthermore, they seem them as "gambles" rather than as part of a long-term strategy. Kenwright did terrible, corrosive damage to our standing in the game, presenting us as former millionaires who had now become paupers. Paupers don't contend for titles or the CL places, in general, so the media narrative is generally correct about us, but is now a few years out of date.I understand what your saying and I agree, it would be nice to get a bit of credit now and again, not even that today, it was more that today though, it’s as if we don’t even exist, going on about the RS going 7 points clear and City are 2nd. Only we can change that. Just got to keep going and try to finish top 4It's Sky, expect no more. To them, we don't exist.
