Media relishing Everton’s demise

Had to stop reading football365 after the vitriol that followed the derby from their columnists and editing - Jonny Nic or similar.

It wasn't so long ago the same site were on their high-horse about greed and the Super League, with Everton being one of the few clubs daring to call it out.

Now it's back into sycophant mode, cheering and crying over everything their darlings do and putting everybody else in their 'plucky' boxes with faint praise.

For sure they'll be delighted if we go down - but equally them and their narratives can do one.

OMG Danny Murphy just said Richy shouldn’t face any action…

Murphy is sticking up well for us.

He even said Goodison was his favourite away ground to play at ?

But if any justification for this thread title were needed, talkSPORT right now is providing it right now.

All Jim White wants to talk about is the flare incident and the fireworks.

Moshiri must have blocked his phone number or sommat.

I heard this, what was funny was him says fans are getting intouch saying he should be banned, it was text book bait of a none story

Don't believe what I'm reading. The Mackems of merseyside? Newcastle are one club in a city. How far away are you nearest rivals Sunderland, 15, 20 miles? We live less than a mile from arguably the most successful team in british football history and we fill our stadium week in week out and also have one of the best away supports in the league. That's a big club for you. The 4th or 5th most successful clubs in English football. Yes we've fallen on hard times recently but still massive. Who knows a successful we'd have been had we not been banned from Europe in the 80s. Newcastle, Sunderland. Don't make me laugh.
Newcastle who until this season only sell half their ticket allocation. Haha

I’m convinced that Liverpool fans are realising that half the it enjoyment comes from mocking us. They’re such insecure narcissists. If we went down half their enjoyment of laughing at us on sky with all their kopite pundits and shafting us in derbies has disappeared. There seems to have been a sea change in a lot of them going from ‘it would be the best thing I’ve ever seen’ to ‘well if they could go down for one season and then come back up I’d take it’ to ‘will be rubbish not having derbies, better they just about stay up and stay rubbish’

When Pickford is getting lauded from all angles and they’re not doing everything they can to get Richarlison banned you know something is amiss with them.

Jim White is only famous for making an absolute circus out of transfer deadline day, an event that’s most famous moment contains a big blue dildo - make of that what you will
I remember the first time they wheeled out Jim White on transfer deadline day to a fanfare of trumpets and confetti.

It was if the Hugh Hefner of transfers had arrived. This was it. The big one. The one all the transfer virgins aspire to become. The final boss.

Agreed. Incredibly Souness said after the derby the other week “Newcastle United are every bit as big as Everton”, but they were in the Championship when the Premier Lesgue began. And they will be getting smaller crowds than us once again when we’ve moved to BMD.
Souness is an utter sour bitter tit. The only time I've ever agreed with him was to do with his comments about Kurt Zouma's cat.
