If you are still awake good morning to you and all the other fine chaps and chapesses on here .So nice to hear a few words from you @messymascot it starts my day with a smile ,something visits on here never did .I hope you have a great day and get some rest when you can .We are all here for you .
I dont' mention the team at the moment because in all my years I don't remember being so uninterested in the goings on . Of course I am grateful to Moshiri but it could have gone so much better than it has . Stay strong .

Morning mate. Hope you're doing well today. Really great you're posting again.

I think there's just a bit of leg pulling going on regards the best team selection in that most people will look at this through their own specifically tinted glasses. So Joe picked a ream full of Everton players and I picked a team for Reedy full of United players. ?

Ahhh right never read the instructions as usual, good morning blues- thats hard messy. My team would beat Reedys though and i havent even seen his utd team yet lol. Blue tinted glasses though id probably pick the same team. Maybe reedy could pick his all time premiership utd team to beat all time everton premiership team and we could all show him hows hes wrong haha. Went to bed thinking who was better Gravesen or Barry, How about after Reedys game you pick a premiership British Everton team v rest of world premiership Everton team with managers.
 
Good morning @messymascot. Good to see you posting. Hope the fightback is continuing and you are regaining strength. I'll have to have a think about my all time Premier League team. Being an old git I would much prefer it to include the old 1st Division - just so I could include Bob Latchford! However I'll stick to the rules lol

Not much happening here. I'm home alone, daughter off work and gone out with her friend, son and husband actually at work. Just me and the cat. Quite peaceful really. Have a lovely day
 
Hello everybody. Hope you are all OK and had a nice weekend. For the oldies, my daughter ran downstairs this morning "Mum have you heard this song It's brilliant. It would be perfect for a wedding" ( hope that's not a hint and she's trying to tell me something!!) The song- Electric Dreams from the John Lewis advert. Personally I think that version is dross, another breathy female turning an upbeat song into a rubbish ballad. Told daughter to listen to the original ??
God, I'm getting old!!

No, I'm not falling for that one Reedy, because at least half of any all time Premier League team would be made up of Man U players, and there could only be one manager.

So, I've put together a team without any Man U players, which does make it a little bit easier, but still very hard to choose. Off the top of my head, so I've probably missed some obvious choices, I've tried to pick players who've had the biggest impact over a sustained period, rather than shone brightly for a couple of seasons then moved abroad.

I've also avoided choosing any Everton players, although only Southall and Barry would be considered anyway. Kanchelskis was only here one season, brilliant though that season was. Players like Henry, Zola, Sterling, Kante, Lampard, and a pre-Everton Barry just missed the cut.

My Man U free team

Cech, Zabaleta, Kompany, Terry, Cole, Vieira, De Bruyne, D. Silva, Hazard, Bergkamp, Shearer

Manager: Wenger
