It's a Wetherspoons that has recently reopened after a 4 month refurb. Looks exactly the same as far as I'm concerned so I asked the barmaid (are you still allowed to use that term) what had been done and she said everything. Cal always said I never noticed anything. Guess she was right?

Anyway it's my first pint out for about 2 months and I'm really enjoying it. Just the 1 though. G&T Friday tonight.

You deserved it mate.

That right there is a lesson for life. Stop being bound by timetables and where you should be. Of course miss the last bus and you’re screwed but sentiment remains.
 

Good morning all on this dark mild day here in Finland. Not much to report except the wife might venture into the pool after our sauna ,quite a step yet but here choice .As @Armaghtoffee said last week she will tell me if she is not happy with her leg so in she jolly well goes ,the problem is that then I have no excuse for not going and it is bloody freezing or it feels it .
I hope all had a good night and a word from @Terrarian would be nice ,brighten up the prematch .I have a feeling we will implode today which is definitely one of very few times I see no light at the end of the tunnel ,such is the state Everton and Moshiri have me in .COYB

Whenever I see light at the end of the tunnel it’s a train coming in the opposite direction. Like me, the old ones are the best lol

Afternoon all. Trying my best to have something resembling a productive day today.

Had my first face-to-face drum lesson today (one of my midlife crises), done a tip run, bit of housework and now I’m watching a bit of the match with a cuppa while my lunch goes down, and before a run at the gym.

Will do my assigned drum homework exercises later and maybe watch a movie with the family. Also need to squeeze in some Spanish practice (midlife crisis #2).
