Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

If the report of Denise suffering a headlock leaving a home game is true then they have disgraced the club .
Yes big if blue
Supposed to have happened 10 days ago and we only hear about it now.
Supposed to have happened on the exit of the Director Box. I've been fortunate to sit in that area many times and there are lots of stewards and loads of other fans and surprise , surprise no one else saw it.
Goodison like every other PL grounds has CCTV footage everywhere and no image of this incident?
Come on it beggars belief.
As Nixon and Johnson found out the crime is bad but it's the cover up that finishes you off.

Not a chance this headlock incident happened.

The Board declared war on us today.

What a terrible day yesterday and I fear it will only get worse.
I am totally convinced that the DBB incident never happened.
The videos of teenage fans confronting players don't make good watching and this despicable board will use every opportunity to drive a wedge between the fans and the club to save their own skin.
As I said earlier in the week I have to monitor my BP once a week and yesterday was the day! Readings in the last month have been consistently fine but yesterday evening spiked alarmingly. I wonder what happened yesterday to cause that ?
So, Im done with Everton. The soul of the club has been lost and will not be restored relegation or not whilst these clowns are in charge.
I will continue to post periodically on here to stay in touch with all my friends but try to avoid anything Everton related. How successful I will be I don't know.
Anyway I'm off on holiday next week so that will help
Try and have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all, cold wind blowing here not as cold as the wind blowing through our club though. That is the last time I shall mention it here. I’d rather forget the whole thing, this is proving difficult as I keep getting sent memes and jokes from Man Ure supporting son-in- law. Laugh? I thought I’d never start!
@Barnfred 55 thinking of you today on Cal’s birthday.
@jazzy sorry you won’t be around so much, we will miss you, totally understand your reasons though. Hope you and Mrs J. have a lovely holiday.
Have a good day, all.?

Good morning all on this dismal day here and there in the UK .As @Gwladysover has said I will not mention the situation on this thread either ,it is so depressing and we don't need that .
Happy birthdat to Cal @Barnfred 55 and I too will be thinking of you both today ,have a drink for me and make it one of Cal's gins .
I hope all slept well and have a better day .Stay strong and enjoy the rest of our lives .COYB

How’s business?

My local has went from a band every Saturday to one big night a month (Hypnotist before Christmas a great night).

People’s habits have changed and there’s just not the same weekend crowd.

Local doing very well I should add.

It’s doing ok. Numbers are up for a January, but peoples habits have changed as we find that people come out earlier and go home earlier. It’s very strange but seems to be the norm for other pubs in the area as well……

Same, our locals are now closing around 12 at weekends at 10ish during the week. Doing well with food during the day though which is a help.

Fully understand where you are coming from mate. It's basically what I've been doing for quite some time now and it's probably been noticed that I'm not posting in here as often as I used to, and rarely if ever post in the football threads. I'm lucky in some aspects in that recent events enable me to put a different perspective on Everton Football club than most of you guys. At the end of the day it is just a game and there are other far more important things going on in our lives, and in the world in general. One of those things is health so you make sure you take good care of yourself Jazz. Have a fantastic cruise. To say I'm a wee bit jealous is an understatement.

On a different note, I recorded that Rick Wakeman 6 wives concert the other night and watched the first half of it again last night. I must have been a bit drunk last time I watched it as I didn't realise it was filmed live at Hampton Court Palace. It made me think a lot about Cal. Not only did she like Rick Wakeman, but she was also a massive fan of anything to do with The Tudors, and Hampton Court was probably the most magical place we ever visited together. Very apt, and I'm going to watch the rest of it this evening.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing from you when you feel up to it and, as Sassy would have said, let's have some nice pics of the Caribbean to make us all envious. ;)

Thanks for your support guys. Some of you may recall that it isn't just Cal's birthday today, it's also the first anniversary of Steve and I burying her ashes with her mum and dad. That was an event in itself. Steve had bought a wooden casket to bury her in, and it was the size of a midget's coffin. So he had to dig down around 3 feet and I had visions of his spade hitting his mum's coffin. I've no idea what we'd have done if anybody turned up. I mean the hole was slightly large for the crocus bulbs we were supposedly planting.lol

I've been pretty good so far. I slept really well, awakened about 8am by the sound of hailstones on the skylight. I've just had a bit of a moment now making the above post and thinking about our trip to Hampton Court, but apart from that I've been fine. Thinking about burying her ashes actually brought a smile to my face. I'm sure there will be one or two more moments as the day evolves, but I plan on today being one of celebrations and happy memories.

Was planning on having Margarita cocktails tonight Blue, but I may just have little gin pre dinner just to quench your gin fixation.;)

Good afternoon all. @Barnfred 55 thinking of you today. Happy birthday to Cal. @jazzy I completely understand your thoughts processes. I went to the gym this morning. It was very cathartic. Don't lose touch with us though. Have a fab holiday. I hadn't even considered that the DBB incident was a fib, because I always thought we were the nice guys. . But as you said, why now and where's the CCTV? Sad times.
Have a good Sunday x
