Came in a dinky box, cushioned by what I think was raffia - it brought to mind hampers from Enid Blyton books - my, wasn't I a tearaway child.

I wanted to live in an Enid Blyton book. Saturday sixpences, ginger beer and cucumber sandwiches. It was much later that I realised what an appalling racist snob she was - but I still like The Magic Faraway Tree!

Where are you going in Feb., Or have you already said and I've forgotten.? The Caribbean?

Cruise but can't get anyone to look after mum for 2 weeks so we have to make do with one week around Madeira and the Canaries

Cheers - I’ve started easing myself gently into new year/new me plans with Diet Coke in my JD. First world problem I know but how annoying are the lids that are attached to the bottle

I didn't go bonkers over Xmas (for a change) so I'm not too bad. Being good tonight too (first gin 7pm rather than 5pm). And the plan is to take it easy NYE too. Basically being boring.

Well had a great day at the Southport Record Fair.

Didn't get Steely Dan - Aja but I did get 1st UK pressings of the Nightfly by Donald Fagen and Kate Bush's The Dreaming and they both sound fantastic.

On the flip side I also got a Cat Stevens which sounds awful , c'est la vie

Which Cat Steven’s did you get? One of my all time fave LPs is Tea for the Tillerman. They reckon he’s a blue as well.
