Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I'm quite OK with Dyche if he's appointed.I don't think he got the credit he deserved with what he did at Burnley. He's a straight talker and his press conferences are entertaining.
I quite like the man. Not a fan of his football though tbh. The name of the game is survival though, and hopefully he's the right shout for that.

The craziest one, I actually got penalised for taking the call and not being a gibbering idiot. No loss of cognitive function. These people have no idea about mental health.

They actually caught me on a good day, not a day when my heads battered. So yeah, imagine not answering the call, that would've helped wouldn't it.

Really can't win honestly.
It has really angered me reading your PIP journey. Shower of Barstewards.

My advice is to ask your GP what a successful application consists of and if they will give you a supporting letter.

Benefit law isn’t my field but I will read up on the appeal process and see if there’s something I can get an angle on and will PM you mate.

Now that is what I love about this thread ,well done that man.

I am for my first away day of the season tomorrow in Castleblayney. I say away day but it is 14 mins drive from house just over the border in Monaghan.

We go in as favourites but in a Derby this has never counted for anything. Can’t wait for the day out itself never mind the nerve shredding match ?

For context, Castleblayney has a population of 3500 and in it’s day it was known for having a pub every 3 doors ?

Have a great day.

Sounds as though you will be having a great time!

I got penalised for washing my pots, I said I can't even open jars anymore. I got penalised for washing myself. They said I can stand 15 minutes, I never said that, I said no idea as it's not something I have timed.
I got penalised for eating food daily, it's mental, if I didn't I'd starve, I don't have anyone to help. Lots of other nonsense, it's bizarre.
Our neighbour didn’t qualify because she was able to wash and dress herself, make a cup of tea and use the toilet. No mention of whether she was capable of preparing meals, like you she was unable open jars - she used to ring us and we went round to open them for her.

A bit like Park Road in Toxteth back in the day. You'd go on a pub crawl starting at the bottom by the Mayfair. I can't remember how many pubs there actually were, but you'd only have a half in each pub and you would have to start in the afternoon if you wanted to visit all of them. I only did it once and thankfully lived to tell the tale. I doubt if much more than a handful are still going.

Morning guys. Ignore my post from yesterday about wishing us luck this weekend. I've just seen it's FA Cup fixtures so no game for us. Just shows how much I'm avoiding footie at the moment.

Just about to do my betting and Super 6. I stopped the rot on the horses last week and ended up slightly up on the day. Think I'll still just do my money back bet for now and see how that goes.

On a different note, I tried on some of my old clothes yesterday to see if they still fit me. Most are loose where they used to be tight, but fortunately I don't need to fork out extensively on a new wardrobe just yet. I tried on an old pair of shorts though. They're a bit knackered tbf and I used to wear them when I was helping Cal with her NT job. Last time I wore them they were, shall we say, a bit snug. Yesterday I tried them on, zipped and buttoned but no belt. Just stood there and within 2 seconds they were literally around my ankles. Bin. lol

Actually, I was quite chuffed with myself and I think I deserve a self indulgent day. So it's posh sausage butties for lunch and my favourite spicy chicken fried rice for tea. Hope you all have a great weekend folks.
