Just started receiving emails and various brochures from Dementia Support for my wife, it. Seems to have taken an age to get to this point…..

Had no idea she had dementia mate. Assumed she was "just" poorly ill. Two things, I think, we have in common, are being pretty much state benefits virgins, and being catapulted into a being a carer for a loved one.

CAB helped me navigate it all, (which appears bewildering, well it did to me). I am far from an expert in it, but if you want a natter/direction, drop me a PM. Take care pal. Xx

Well, 3 dead/dying trees removed from the orchard, the other 6 pruned to within an inch of their lives, "let there be light", for £650. 2 lads with all the kit here from 8.00 till 3.00. Reckon thats a decent day Rodney.

Thanks, yes she had all the tests and scans and they say it’s Alzheimer’s. They are checking blood tests because they say the drugs can affect kidneys, and she only has the one after removal of a cancerous one. Anyway I’m just glad that something has kicked into gear for some kind of support, groups, behaviours etc etc. I’ll drop you a note tomorrow. Again thanks….

Good morning all on this dark and mild morning here in Hyvinkää .I hope all had a good night and have a super day day today .We are off out shopping as it is Thursday .I am hoping to get a sheet of polystyrene to make my latest project ,which is a weather vane ,it has to have a horse the wife says but we shall see said the blind man .Have a great day all COYB.

CBA keeping the wood for 2 years to make them seasoned enough for a log burner. It rained overnight as well, so they will be soaked anyrate.

In a positive way that befits this coffee shop, I believe the vitriol that will pour forth from the stands on Saturday will galvanise the players to fight for us. Actually do it for the fans as we did for them last year.

In Wetherspoons in Falmouth having a swifty. Had a haircut and some brunch and just waiting to go to the pics to watch Babylon. It's over 3 hours long so hopefully have time for another swifty before catching the last bus home.

That's a full on day for me. I'll probably have to spend the day in bed tomorrow ?

I did enjoy it thanks Anj. Best new film I've seen in yonks with a brilliant Jazzy soundtrack. But it's not for everyone. Explicit in every sense of the word. And time for another swifty before catching the last bus.?
