50 odd years ago, my future wife would drink half of shandy. My sodding sisters then insisted she had brandy and babycham. Cost me a bleeding fortune…..

I enjoy nothing more than a hot curry and a good Malbec or Shiraz mate. As good a blend as Stilton and port.

Hi all. I'm looking forward to going to Liverpool tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the gym tonight. I hate going on a Friday. It makes the day far too long. I also have to fit in the weekly shop so I usually find myself unpacking shopping at 8.30pm. And then I get to chill. Friday is also the only day that I can make time up because Mr F finishes at lunch time and makes his own way home. SoI work longer than usual.

Sorry that sounds like a big moan but it's been that sort of a week. We have a new team leader who is young, keen and determined to make her mark. It doesn't bode well. Micromanagement to the nth degree.
Everton can do one as well. They aren't helping either.

Anyway enjoy your Friday. Hope you are having a G and T @Barnfred 55 . I may join you later but mine will be V and T.

I feel that. Hate going to the gym after a long day. Usually ends up with getting to sleep late and feeling knackered the next day

Hi Anj hope you managed to get your chill time after your work gym shopping extravaganza. Sounds way to much for me, I'd have been asleep by 9pm! Your new team leader situation resonates with me totally, as you know! Met with my old boss yesterday, she told me that in discussions with senior management at Exec Director level they recognise cultural issues and the behaviour of managers is impacting employees. Why don't they do something about it then?!

CBA with Everton at the moment, I'm depressed enough as it is!

Not for me Pete. Perhaps you might get away with a zingy New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc but just about everything I've tried is overpowered by the spiciness of the curry.
