Good morning from St.Paul Mn. , it’s a bit nippy, that’s the Capitol building that I’ve just been on a tour of.

Mrs Js birthday today so Granny looked after the pups ( or was it the other way around?) and we went to Skipton for the day. Cold but lovely day out and Mrs J picked up some bargains.
Great lunch in the Bull @Broughton and now home and some prosecco in front of the log fire.
Maybe some cheese and red wine later. Sadly no ping pong tonight, ah well c'est la vie.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for people striving to be their best but they must understand that people have lives outside of work. It is a means to an end but for some they just can’t see that.

Many years ago in a student job, a seasoned colleague remarked to me about a new manager, ‘there is promise here, we can mold him into what we want him to be’.
