Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning Messy, Fred and all. Bright but cold here this morning, still a bit breezy but thankfully nowhere near as bad as yesterday. Our fence is still standing which is a surprise, off out now to retrieve some pots which have blown into the pond. How did the ITV 7 go @Barnfred 55? Have a good morning all, I think our afternoon may be a bit stressfu. Thinking of you Messy and wishing you well.?
Don't ask Gwladys. As of race 6 I didn't pick 1 winner. I didn't even bother watching the last race.

I didn't have a good day on my betting either, but it could have been very different. I had 1 winner a 8-1 but I had 3 2nd places that lost by less than a length. I don't gamble much (money wise), it's just a bit of fun.

Tbh anyone else at this moment will do ;)
Anyway, I've got friends battling their way through the snow to get down to Cornwall for tomorrow. They're staying for a few days. I'm going to cook them a nice curry. It's a chicken dish with a mushroom side dish and if I cook them today they'll be even better tomorrow. Plus tomorrow i can spend the afternoon in the local pub with them having a catch up. So the next 3 hours are sorted. I'll look in again later stinking of cooked onions, garlic and spices. lol Hopefully we can turn this game around.

I hope your friends make it safely to Cornwall. Are you expecting to get more snow throughout the night? A curry sounds like the perfect dish to enjoy during cold snowy days. Enjoy catching up with your mates, the way this game is going you would be better concentrating on their curry ;)
