Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello everybody. I hope you are having a great day. I'm not going to skate around the issue so I'll get straight to the point. I love the fishy jokes.

We've been busy celebrating the boy's 30th. We had such a good time yesterday - drinking in Durham then a meal out that I can't remember if I posted about it. How bad is that? 🤣 Son and girlfriend were staying in a hotel in Durham so me and Mr F got the last bus home. It's been a few years snce I've done that.

Today was the Scotch Egg Experience which was brilliant. A two hour masterclass on Scotch eggs including making our own and a tasting session. I made one with Cumberland saussage meat, blue cheese and mushroom, and one with pork sausage, jalapenos, black pudding and worcester sauce. It is a little independent business and the owner who ran it was so funny. Loads of rubbish egg jokes/puns included. Here's a pic of mine amd Mr F's pre-cooked masterpieces. I'm so full of Scotch eggs, I think I've ate four today and there's still four in the fridge because I bought some of their speciality ones. Guess what's for breakfast/lunch tomorrow? 🤣

Son and girlfriend are heading up to Northumberland for a couple of days tomorrow and out for a romantic meal tonight so the oldies are staying at home!

Sounds like you had a brill time ( sorry that really is the last fish pun from me)

My mum was born in Knotty Ash , Ken Dodd was a neighbor of hers, my folks got married in the church there

Talking of Plymouth the lad Warrigton has just gone on loan to them for the season
I don't for the life of me know why they want to move him on ,he was the best player in the second half yesterday .No money and no sense in that one .

That's really awful. She's had a very troubled life. Losing her son last year must have been so awful. I can't imagine how that would feel or how you would ever get over losing your child.
Yes you are absolutely right. Interesting that her career never recovered after she tore up the picture of the Pope live on American TV in protest at child abuse within the Catholic church.

By a strange coincidence me and Mrs J watched Spotlight last night a really powerful movie about a team of journalists exposing abuse in the American catholic church.
