Yeah. Musically anyway. Not sure if there is much connection in the back story. I was surprised how good Sam Claflin's voice is.

As regards the smoking, it's just the times T. Almost everybody smoked back then, including me.
 

The Focaccia de recco ( cheese butty ) ,I found it a little too salty and as we had just that for lunch ,a little lacking in the fill your stomach department.It was quite filling but it needed something more .The intention is to serve it with a lasagne for guests and for that it would be fine other than for the Turkish bread I make which is miles better .Take no notice of Gino Decampo and his fantastico is all I can say . 1691057157305.webp
 

Just had a call from the GP regarding the removal of my cyst. She was really sorry but the request for funding had been turned down. I’ve already had a letter from the hospital to say I had been placed on the waiting list, however she says I will receive another to say my name has been removed! 🤪 I said it wasn’t her fault, just the way things are these days but she said it was frustrating because she wants the best for her patients and doesn’t believe that refusing me is in my best interests. Ah well suppose it’s going to have to be private, it needs to come off. I’m lucky I can afford it but there are so many needing procedures that haven’t got the means. Watching two youngest grandkids playing now and am wondering what the future holds for them with the world as it is, I’m not sorry that I am closer to the exit than the entrance so to speak. Sorry to be such a downer on what is a lovely evening, I’m just disappointed but I’ll get over it.

I obviously have no idea where said cyst is. But an external one can be done by a GP with a jab of local anaesthetic in no time.

It‘s on the top of my head. I had one removed from almost the same place about twenty years ago, this was done at the hospital but they won’t do it now as it’s considered to be cosmetic surgery. G.P. can’t do it they say has to be done at the hospital.

Translation; GP surgery wont receive payment for it. Its absolute stupidity isnt it? If the surgery are running a blood pressure service, a walk in one, tell them you will go to that, (£50 a pop from NHS), if they lob the cyst off.
