Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

In a positive vibe befitting of the Messy Cafe, I think Everton will avoid last season’s gut wrenching finish.

Danjuma and Chermiti strengthens the attack and I expect another 2 in by the end of the window.

Patterson; McNeil; Garner and Onana are a year more experienced and pre-season showed very promising signs.

And the cherry on top, DCL is surely due a run of fitness.

12th.
That would do for me. Drama free, nothing to play for by April, finishing 9th to 14th.

Morning everyone,

Bright and sunny here in West Lancs today so I can get stuck into the gardening and might even sit in the sun for an hour this afternoon.

Travel seems to the the current theme - Fred chucking up in the North Sea and AT getting ready to cross the Irish sea - have a great trip both of you. To cheer myself up I've just printed off our boarding passes for Lesvos. Two things strike me - why do people pay for an allocated seat ? We never do but always sit together regardless and secondly , contrary to most people I always print off my boarding pass - I never trust my phone to have battery , the app to work or me being able to find it on the phone or app when it's really needed. Guess that says a lot about my cautious nature and my inability to use technology.

I put it down to my training as a lawyer , we were always told to expect and prepare for the worst outcome and to contingency plan. I suppose that makes me a perfect Evertonian! In fact , interestingly , most of the lawyers I know support the mighty blues rather than the RS!

Anyway , have a lovely day y'all.

Morning all, bright blue sky here, which is good as I’ve two loads of washing to put out, rock and roll, baby lol .Enjoyed the evening at the football, always think there is something special about an evening kick off. The match wasn’t great, Posh won on penalties, fingers crossed for a home draw against us. Have a good day, all and mind the mosquitoes @blue1948, I’m off to see my friend.💙
P.S This pic is on the local paper website, the bloke in glasses looks over the moon about the goal, there is something familiar about him though.🤣🤣IMG_1087.webp

Fly Saturday morning early and shall be having a leisurely breakfast in Liverpool around 9am.

I have all day Sunday as well and looking forward to seeing Bramley Moore.
If you don't get goosebumps when you see it I will be shocked and I bet there will be loads there at the same time all awestruck by its magnificence .COYB

Interesting that. Do you have a boarding strategy for sitting together without allocated seats? I always pay for an allocated seat but that’s because we usually fly easyjet, so by booking an upfront seat you can take both a normal hand luggage on the plane plus a cabin sized suitcase as these days I find it so much easier without a big case to drag around (especially on our island hops), and I’ve learned to travel light. And I never print anything off - everything is on my phone. It will probably catch me out one day but I’ve charged my phone in airports etc when needed, and it adds a little more excitement 😂😂. I’m so jealous of your trip to Lesvos and @anjelikaferrett’s upcoming hop and look forward to hearing about them 💙🇬🇷

When I bought the old Jag as a project of course I joined a few forums ,on one yesterday the subject of their unreliablity surfaced and I asked why as an Evertonian and an S-type owner do I do it to myself ?
The general consensus was I am a glutton for punishment . Me I think it isn't ,it is love ,I just love Everton and the looks of the Jag and when she is running properly it will be all worth it . I am though still waiting for the brake switch ( with a week delivery time) five weeks later!

No particular strategy except don't leave it to the last minute.

Yes, the Easyjet one is interesting. We've considered whether to pay for seats and get a decent cabin bag versus the cost of one suitcase.
