I hope the weather is better for all in the UK today as from our news it looked quite severe .

@blue1948 thanks for sharing this clip. What a lovely Finnish accent that young woman has but I bet it is challenging to learn the language. Although some people are very prolific at learning different languages, not me though lol

Good evening, darling. I'm late on my greeting, it was busy day for me but seeing your post has brighten my night. You are such a warrior, one that's teaching us so many lessons about determination, courage and perseverance. I only wish I could be part of your army so I could fight along you to defeat that horrible disease that's cancer. I love you, Karl! You have become an inspiration to many of us here. Not matter what happens, you have forever touched us in a very unique way, you are special! xx

Errrr not good at learning different languages?

So I'm guessing that your mother tongue is Spanish ( please excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong Sassy ) and your command of English is outstanding.

Whe you come over you will find that you speak English better than most of us.

Messy I hope that you are OK today fella , still struck by your message yesterday, keep fighting mate.

So , weekend upon us again and an interesting game for us on Sunday. Hopefully we picked up confidence from the fine win against Arsenal and play with 3 in midfield and with intensity.

Looks like England have at last show a bit of fight in the cricket even tough I'm still doing a rain dance - the only problem is that it seems to work for Ormskirk and not Brisbane.

Me and Mrs J off to lunch at a Nepalese restaurant today to remind ourselves of our last big adventure a couple of years ago.

Good morning Messy, Fred and the gang, Karl, thanks again for your message yesterday, more of the same today if you can, Jazzy you and Mrs J enjoy your Nepalese meal, I love Momo's, you can tell us all about it and make my mouth water later.

I had a rude awakening there at 0755, my Dad had phoned from his hospital bed to tell me he'd just been attacked in his bed by a mentally ill patient who'd attacked a nurse the previous night, he's okay but shocked and lost his concept of time, though the good news is he should get out today, my Dad's 86 and claims the guy is the same age, it's a shame but he really should be in a room of his own if he is violent.
