But right now I’m in Wagamama one bowl of ramen down and into my second beer

I wish I was! A very dull day in Durham today - weather is rubbish and I'm finding it hard to motivate myself workwise due to the impending holidays. Only two more days in work after today. Wooo!

Been a bit soggy in York today. Here’s one or two pics from the Castle Museum and one of Clifford’s Tower. When our kids were small they persuaded me to take them up there, not a good idea for someone with a fear of heights.

Been a bit soggy in York today. Here’s one or two pics from the Castle Museum and one of Clifford’s Tower. When our kids were small they persuaded me to take them up there, not a good idea for someone with a fear of heights.
Great pics G. I’ve always loved York both as a teenager and an adult. It was the first and only time I tried Guinness & Cider…I once competed there in my younger days in a KUGB Karate competition, when a load of us (all black belts) were sat in one of the pubs enjoying a pint and a couple of local lads picked a fight with a lad from the Red Triangle, a lad incidentally who won one of the competitions, we all burst into laughter when they did it and it didn’t end well for the poor lads. The Red Triangle lad was short, appeared slight, laid them all out, but we all knew he was an animal…moral of the story, never pick on someone you don’t know……

Hope @Gwladysover and @anjelikaferrett get to meet up today . I'm sure they will enjoy their company every bit as much as I enjoyed Freds.
Came through my first table Tennis of the season last night with no elbow pain ( so far ) so that's all good .
Promises to be a lovely day today so I've got the wonderful task of cleaning out the stable block. We have 2 goats and a sheep who use the stables and mucking them out is something that I never look forward to. Mind you the detritus makes a brilliant mulch for the rose beds in mum's garden .
The news of Evertons finances and potential new owners is unremittingly bad. Honestly I don't know where it ends.
Anyway have a lovely day everyone.

Glad you came through the table tennis ok, I would offer to help with the mucking out but I’ve a previous engagement.
No, it's packed in my head but I need to turn it into reality. I'm also determined to travel light because we are moving around. That's the biggest challenge!
