Morning all. Today I’m entering another round in my fight with KLM for my reasonable expenses reclaim. Yesterday they sent a “ good news I’ve authorised your claim “ email. But it wasn’t for the full amount, about 3/5ths of it , so £200 missing with no explanation. I’ve given them a day to let part of the claim progress, I don’t want to lose that!, and have now followed up with a “Thank you very much for the progress, but you still owe me £200, and here’s a repeat of the reasons why . “

I also posted on their Facebook page the other night, I got a reply from somebody in a similar position, but my post was taken down an hour later. So I reposted with an “ Oh , my original post seems to have been accidentally taken down , here it is again , I’m only politely asking for information” KLM responded this time with a link which didn’t go anywhere, so I thanked them and said I’d go back to pursuing the original claim. Which I’ve done today.

Mrs b thinks I’m enjoying this , but I’m not . My old age grumpiness is of a sufficient level to keep pursuing this but if it becomes too stressful I’ll likely let it go , but not just yet. Sorry for the long KLM posts, please ignore if not interested, but they may just help someone if they find themselves in a similar position in future

It’s the lack of fairness that really would get my back up, but you might be right to let it go rather than let it fester if you keep hitting a brick wall. Nothing seems to be straightforward and easy these days.

Haha, love the diversity this thread has . At the moment I’m somewhere between these two . Sorry Blue but pictures of Moshiri are banned in my house, I don’t have darts to chuck at him!

We have been out picking again after having only +2° a few nights ago we didn't think there would be many still growing .It shows how much we know !

Are those Chanterelle mushrooms Blue? A friend regularly goes out to pick them. I’ve discovered some in a nearby forest when I’ve been out running but never had a bag with me or the bravery to pick and eat any!

I love mushrooms but as I’ve never been shown which may be poisonous I daren’t pick any. Complete failing of my education I’m afraid…….

Good evening everybody. Today has been very relaxing. 29C and not a cloud in the sky. Our day so far can be summed up as breakfast, pool, lunch, (with beer), beach, swim in sea, siesta. We found the Trojan horse who has opted for retirement in Syros. There's a cocktail bar by the beach - might just call in there tonight.

Yes chanterelles ,please get someone who knows before you try any ,even if you pay as you will soon get your money back .They have their own smell and not much looks like them but you need to be sure .
