Good morning all on this fine day today here in Finland .I hope all had a fine night and have an even better day ,I have missed this VAR furore as only watch Everton news but I must say it has brightened my day no end . I hope @jazzy and Mrs J have a great time and don't get dizzy on such a small island ,35 years is a long time ,well done .COYB.
For those who awoke in a miserable frame of mind :-
A pensioner drove his brand new BMW to 100 mph, looking in his rear view mirror, he saw a police car behind him.
He floored it to 140, 150, 160... Suddenly he thought “I'm too old for this nonsense!"
So, he pulled over to the side of the road and waited for the police car to catch up with him.
The officer walked up to him, looked at his watch and said:
"Sir, my shift ends in ten minutes. Today is Friday and I'm taking off for the weekend with my family. If you can give me a good reason that I've never heard before, why you were speeding... I'll let you go."
The Man looked very seriously at the police man, and replied:
"Years ago, my wife ran off with a policeman, I thought you were bringing her back." !!!
The Cop left saying,
"Have a good day, Sir"...
The old ones are the best .

I'm feeling a bit negative at the moment that's why I'm not posting so much. Need to get in touch with my shrink and get a med increase I think. At least feeling like this, Everton can't make it any worse, small mercy's I guess lol
Daisy is good though, cheeky little monkey she is.
Just been talking to someone, the lass who has the Golden Lab that Daisy plays with and she has just found out she has an enlarged heart and her brother found her collapsed at home, she ended in ICU and her heart is only working at 37% apparently. Scary stuff, good job her brother found her.

How lucky that lady was found by her brother, the alternative doesn’t bear thinking about. Hope she makes a good recovery.

Had a very pleasant day today. Was treated to lunch by Cal's friend Nikki, a thank you for helping her write her will a short while back. We went to Falmouth Golf club, somewhere Cal and I used to go quite a lot. They built a new club house overlooking Swanpool Bay which was finished around the time Cal died and it's the first time I've been. It's really nice and the food was excellent. I haven't seen Nikki for a couple of months and the 5 hours we spent together went far too quickly, a sure sign that I've enjoyed myself.

Of course sorry that you are feeling a bit down but fingers crossed you will feel a bit better by the weekend.
Looks like the weather is going to be lovely , opportunity for a long walk with Daisy and tire her out?
I find that if I really exercise Rosie she loses some of her naughtiness.
