Hi folks. After this morning's adventures it has been a drama free day. The weather has been horrendous. The wind seems to have dropped slightly but we've got an amber warning for rain overnight. The car I went looking at yesterday was fine but already the auction price is above what I want to pay -I do love to bargain,my claim to fame is that whilst in Turkey at a market I bargained a guy down to the floor and after walking around for a few minutes he spotted me ,ran over took the watch from my wrist and handed me the money back ! Love it .Is Makro still there in Kirkby ?

I’ve not been for years but I think it still is. We used to call in on the way home from the match supposedly for wine but usually ended up with random things that were on special offer. From what I remember they started closing early on Saturday so that put paid to my bargain hunts.

Morning all. Let me just say I hate derby day. It brings out the worst in me. I think it’s all the gloating reds in the family and friends who never go to the game who I know who rub it in every time we fold. Please god not this day.

Morning everyone. I'm meant to be taking my son to the big shed over the park to watch the game, but still unsure if it's worth taking him to experience it.

I keep thinking, "But what if we win?" and wouldn't want him to miss out on that experience, whereas my head knows this is my heart talking rubbish.

I've been there countless times since '99 (last time I saw it) and it's always miserable. I can only think of the Jags one recently (actually not recently) that's positive.
