Happy and a somewhat belated anniversary Anj. You must have got married just a few months before me. It's amazing how much of our lives have been mirrored. I bet we must have been in the same place at the same time on numerous occasions back in the day. Congrats on your new job too. Doesn't seem that long ago that you were contemplating semi retirement. But if you're still enjoying then go for it girl.

Hope your nose is OK. Sometimes you can get really knocked up when these sort of things happen. At least it wasn't worse and the door didn't swing in on your hand. That happened to Cal once and broke 2 of her fingers.

We've definitely crossed paths at some point. No doubt about it!

Hi folks. After this morning's adventures it has been a drama free day. The weather has been horrendous. The wind seems to have dropped slightly but we've got an amber warning for rain overnight. I've binned off the gym, it really is a night to be staying in. Here's a pic of the injured schnozzle!

He was a proper mod growing up 1 mile from Stanford Bridge, he still use to come in the pub with his crombie on and his Ben Sherman’s or Fred Perry shirts , and he was 60plus , where as we have are shorts on and any old t shirt, Fish (as he was known)

The chemistry between the leads is very good now you mention it. Roisin Gallagher is new to me on screen but I have seen her on stage and she is brilliant. She has a real resemblance to Suranne Jones I think.

Sounds like I gave up at the right time as I can’t be bothered with another love across the barricades story. It’s not as if a mixed marriage is as startling as it would have once been here FFS!

I did watch Normal People and thought it was done very well.

I've already decided on Aja by the Dan and think I will have something modern with Oh Wonder and the vinyl selection will be something old ....Day of Future Passed by the Moodies.
All washed down with a very good 2016 St Emillion.

Morning all. Sorry to hear about your bump @anjelikaferrett; I’m excited to hear about the snow @blue1948 - it’s such a novelty round here but I bet it’s run of the mill for you. How are the glasses @Gwladysover? I too am warmed by the election results but you can guarantee that if Labour get in next time they won’t be able to look the wrong way without feeling the wrath of our delightful unbiased media.
Stay safe up there @blueloon - it took me a moment to work out why you weren’t running round theatres as I first read it as drama-thon rather than dram-athon - blonde moment. Your day sounds great @jazzy and I hope everyone else has a good Friday too

Glasses are a lot better now thanks, apparently they hadn’t been fitted properly as well as being too loose.
