Didn't watch yesterdays game but did watch today Australia v NZ which was an incredible gameGood afternoon all. I hope you are all having a good day. @peteblue I can only echo what others have said. Hope you had a decent sleep. Love the pics @Gwladysover and @Val P . I too love old churches and cathedrals. I quite like 'new' cathedrals too like Coventry and both Liverpool ones. The Anglican one isn't that old really. If I remember correctly it was completed in the 1970s. I had my graduation from Liverpool Polytechnic in there.
No overtime today so I've been to The gym. We did a PT session and some cardio before. This afternoon will mostly be watching the sport on TV. @jazzy did you watch the cricket yesterday. What a match. I caught about the last 20 overs after I finished work.
Not been in there for about 10 years. It was ok. Give the Peacock by Kirkdale station a go ATThe Denbigh Castle Pub? Anyone familiar with it?
I believe it’s a good spot for us Toffees and thinking of checking it out before Burnley.
Fabulous knowledge FredYeah it's a proper Blues pub run by Dom and Fiona, good mates of Harryflashman and good Evertonians. They also run the Bridewell where you'll find a guy called Gerard serving the tables. What he doesn't know about Everton probably hasn't happened lol Both great pubs worth checking out and any Blue is well received.
Misspent youth lolFabulous knowledge Fred

Perhaps I'm thinking of somewhere different! On County Road?Think it was a gay bar 10 years ago Jazz.
Something you need to tell us?
Haha. Well dodgedWell Perhaps I'm thinking of somewhere different! On County Road?
Seemed a friendly enough place to me lol
Funny you say that as I expect to have a raging thirst that day!Fred also said to put any drinks you have onto his tab……I think that’s what he inferred anyway, it was subtle……
Don’t think it is what he has to tell you, more what is he suggesting about me?Think it was a gay bar 10 years ago Jazz.
Something you need to tell us?
By all means tell them to put it on Fred's tab ATFunny you say that as I expect to have a raging thirst that day!
Was talking about the Denbigh mateDon’t think it is what he has to tell you, more what is he suggesting about me?
Oooh that sounds nice. I love the porters flavoured with sweet things like chocolate, coffee and cake and cherries and things like that. First time I tried one I didn’t clock that it was about 13% proof and couldn’t understand why I was giddy after having a couple of glasses of it - it was a coconut one and they sold it in small glasses (half of a half pint - I think ). The next day I understood why.
Then I haven't been in there. Yes been in Rigbys many many times , can't remember many of themHaha. Well dodged
It's in town. Can't remember the name of the road but it's one of the side streets between Dale St and Tithebarn St.
Did you ever frequent Rigbys? Fiona used to manage that about 10 years ago. Dom had the Fly in the loaf on Hardman Street
Haha I was thinking of the Harlech Castle on County Rd !!!!Was talking about the Denbigh mate
