Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this fine day here in Finland .I hope all are well and @peteblue is still in the land of nod . Have a great day all COYB . Not much to report other than I got at least one of the guys on board with the Jag ,I am looking at a couple more Jags today -madness ? One thing for sure if they have any electrical problems they wont be coming near me ! ! I will only get one by the way if the price is right .

Morning all, I know it’s a bit early but such is life. My lad thinks my wife may have been sneaking some of the red wine left on the dining room table, so now it has to be hidden. Unfortunately it exacerbates a urinary incontinence which appears to be a sad by-product of the Alzheimer’s. Not a big problem any longer, but it was a bit of a pain when changing bedding and nightclothes at two or three in the morning before we geared up for it. I asked the doctor if it was a urinary infection but several tests later showed it was just part and parcel of the dementia. Anyway sorry for sharing that at this ungodly hour but I woke when my wife decided to have a little wander around the house, she’s back in bed now and fast asleep. I will be joining her in the land of nod very shortly I hope. Anyway I will be fast asleep when you all wake up so I hope you all have a great Saturday…..
Hope you manage to have a great sleep Pete, a tough night for you.

I do so hope that you and Mrs Pete are having the sleep you both so richly deserve. I won’t say I know what you are going through - I don’t and I can’t imagine but I do know what it was like caring for my Mum and I can say I am in awe of everything you do. I am honoured that you feel able to share with us. Hope that doesn’t sound patronising, that wasn’t my intention.💙

Great photos!

Until I was in Liverpool I never knew that Churches had exhibitions of a non religious nature. My enlightenment was one to Everton Football club in the Anglican. Then I saw it also had a cafe!! And it had bottled beer!!!’

Culture shock.
I saw Tangerine Dream in concert at the Anglican cathedral in the mid 70s. There was a lot more than beer drinking going on I can tell you lol

I feel for you mate.

The Denbigh Castle Pub? Anyone familiar with it?

I believe it’s a good spot for us Toffees and thinking of checking it out before Burnley.
Yeah it's a proper Blues pub run by Dom and Fiona, good mates of Harryflashman and good Evertonians. They also run the Bridewell where you'll find a guy called Gerard serving the tables. What he doesn't know about Everton probably hasn't happened lol Both great pubs worth checking out and any Blue is well received.
