Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Ha, sorry I obviously wasn’t paying attention when I wrote that, so it’s a grammatical error on my behalf.

My mum is far from famous, but she did work with him in Lewis’s. She was also Craig Charle’s childminder and friends with Steve Coppell.
Some claims to fame there!
My SiL worked in Lewis' around the same time , perhaps a bit earlier

Morning everyone

Well one week into my no alcohol in November "challenge".
Noticeable changes so far
1. Don't wake up feeling yuk ( only usually lasts 5 minutes)
2. Sleeping better and longer
3. The most important one .....not snoring, which is a constant source of argument between me and Mrs J.

This could catch on.

No idea what the day's got ahead as I haven't poked my head out of the curtains yet.

Have a lovely day everyone

That’s a nice thing to do for the new owners. Not everyone is like that, when my son bought his first place it was horrific- the freezer was like something out of ice age and I actually found a plastic bag with two fish in the middle of a block of ice when I was defrosting it 😮🤢. I would never dream of leaving a house in such a state I would be too embarrassed
Me too. You certainly find out a lot about people when you move into their ex home. When my parents moved, my Mum was physically sick. The previous owners hadn’t cleaned in the months since Dad made the offer on the house, quite a long time as everyone was stuck in a chain.

I moved home last year and felt guilty because I never got the chance to run the Hoover round the living room just to give it a the last once over.
It was a rush in the end and the new people turned up early .
I couldn't leave a house dirty as I would hate to think the new householders that you were tramps even though I would never see them again.
