Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good evening all. Good to hear from you @Terrarian So sorry about your neighbour. I hope you and your sister get support for your Dad.
So 10 points. The whole system is rotten to the core. I don't understand FFP but it seems to me that there is nothing fair about it - it is entirely designed to keep the rich rich. Much like the concept of trickle down economics. We are being fully scapegoated. The PL do not want an independent regulatory body overseeing them so have gone in hard on us. I've read some of the judgment apparently we should have foreseen Gylfi's arrest and should have sued him, the pandemic was entirely predictable and a normal business would have had a plan. Absolute tosh. I'm.so angry. This is like Niasse all over again but on a massive scale - still the only player EVER to be banned for diving.
I'm currently engaging in an argument on Facebook with a work colleague who is a Newcastle fan. He is a complete tit ( hope that small profanity is allowed @peteblue- exceptional circumstances 🤣) I have so far resisted mentioning their owners. He's also a Labour Councellor but hey, human rights don't matter.
Anyway, love the jacuzzi story @Barnfred 55 . My poor Nan once put washing up liquid in her spuds instead of salt - two tall slim white containers side by side. Came back to a pan overflowing with soap suds!
I'll have to watch anything but Sky Sports News tonight. My blood pressure won't take it. Could be Pointless, House of Games and darts!

I thought suspended at worst but I was mistaken in expecting a transparent and equitable process and outcome.
I didn't have a clue what the outcome would be because a) I don't know the exact charge and b ) the facts relating to it.

Now we know the full story I am gobsmacked at the punishment.

I am fuming at Everton for their incompetence and misleading the fans by saying we've done nothing wrong when in reality we had admitted our guilt

I think I've mentioned this before but Cal's uncle used to wash his fresh fruit in Fairy Liquid. Straight up 😀

That to me was the key- admittance of an oversight isn’t the same as saying you are guilty. Well it is legally I know but my point is in mitigation. If being in breach by a Gazillion pounds can only merit a 12 point deduction, then you would think that acknowledging an error in a negligible overspend would be treated commensurately.

But the Premier League is a cartel determined to maintain football in the image it has created. Football is literally eating itself. Everton is not a desired actor in the Premier League production and must be written out accordingly.

I'm not sure that the commission judgment says that the maximum penalty under any circumstances is 12 points deduction.

If it is then we should have got. £100 k fine
