And if I hadn't mentioned it, you probably wouldn't recognize them as Black Sabbath songs.

"Modern jazz " or advantgarde is ( not all ) jazz from 1965 onwards but I will give it a listen and let you know.

I've hardly used mine lately and have let my mum use it instead, so mine is very dubious, with Celine Dion the number 1 artist, strangely followed by Craig David. Sadly I've had to execute my mum for these atrocities.

Hello everybody. I hope you are all OK. @Vegas Toffee Girl it must have been lovely having your Mum to stay. Put your feet up and have a rest before you start your job! Do you have a date yet? @blue1948 I hope the Jag passed its MOT. @Val P how was the dog walking and @jazzy I hope you are fully recovered now.
It's freezing here. Our temperature has hovered around -1 all day. Loads of frost but no snow....yet.
@DualityNSNO my son has been skiing in Bulgaria on two occasions. He loves it.

I took my Mom to the airport yesterday morning and basically "Put my feet up" the rest of the day! It was a much needed rest, thank you! I found out on Wednesday that I start work on Monday! Woohoo! The fun begins!

Something you may want to try out mate. A jazz trio called Jazz Sabbath I heard about this morning on the Jeremy Vine show. They play modern jazz versions of Black Sabbath songs. I had a listen to a couple of tracks earlier and quite enjoyed them, even though modern jazz is not really my thing. I much prefer the trumpet led 20s jazz personally.

The band is led by Rick Wakeman's son who plays piano on it, surprise surprise.

Well after giving a try it’s not for me, prefer rock music unadulterated but there are some reggae versions of Pink Floyd seem to work though.
