Ireland having a gentle debate about re-introducing wolves as it happens. Farmers as you would expect are not enamoured by this possibility.Straight off the press .Our neighbour mailed to say that a deer carcass was found in our forest and the local gamekeeper was informed ( by law ) he said it had been killed by a wolf ,she went on to add there had been another last week very near our house !! Gladly we have no photos to prove it .This is the neighbour that barely says hello .
At least you don't have snakes ! The reintroduction of the beaver in parts of the uk has been a great success so why not for the wolf .Do they drink Guiness ?Ireland having a gentle debate about re-introducing wolves as it happens. Farmers as you would expect are not enamoured by this possibility.

Always nice to have something to look forward to mate.….treating the whole clan to a weekend away. Grandkids will be happy with visiting the Grotto, farm and having a dip in the swimming pool. Mrs Eggs and I will be less active but I’ll have a few rums and just hope Everton don’t spoil the fun.
Something you may want to try out mate. A jazz trio called Jazz Sabbath I heard about this morning on the Jeremy Vine show. They play modern jazz versions of Black Sabbath songs. I had a listen to a couple of tracks earlier and quite enjoyed them, even though modern jazz is not really my thing. I much prefer the trumpet led 20s jazz personally.Morning everyone,
Firstly thanks to @anjelikaferrett and @Gwladysover for asking about my health. As it happens I've still got this bloody virus and now mum and Mrs J have caught it too.
@Barnfred 55 yep really looking forward to our 2nd date in February.
@Val P of course I don't mind you posting about your efforts at the rescue. I hope that it inspires more people to volunteer and appreciate the work involved.
@Gwladysover thank you so much for joining the charity contribution with online shopping. I didn't even know there was such a thing and criminally me and Mrs J don't do it! Can you post a link ?
Ok so I've taken a bit of a break from the forum , there's just so much doom and gloom with Everton at the moment and that coincided with a really busy period.
We have our final.dog show on Sunday , the table tennis Christmas do tonight ( which I've organised - Chinese and then pub with the younger ones going clubbing ) and on Tuesday we went to Lytham of all places to see Seth Lakeman a well know folk artist from Dartmoor . I'm not massively into folk music but he was superb and his fiddle playing was Wonderful.
Funny , I'd never really think of going to Lytham but it was quicker than driving into Liverpool.
Massive game tomorrow and we have to pick up points and can't rely on a successful appeal. In fact the PL gate is so much that I have no great hope of the appeal being successful.
Unremittingly cold here and I fear for the worst for my new tropical garden even though I've protected it.
Anyway have a lovely weekend everyone.

The band is led by Rick Wakeman's son who plays piano on it, surprise surprise.
You may not know it as modern jazz mate. Anything post 1920s is modern jazz for me. lolWow that does sound unusual
Sadly I hate both Black Sabbath and modern jazz but Oliver Wakeman is a talented lad so I will give it a listen
