Never Fred. There wasn’t anything around for starters but I wasn’t tempted anyway. That type of low level crime was non existent when I was growing up and drug dealing in particular always had a zero tolerance response.
Guessing I was around 18/19 before I was offered drugs at all. Re pot, an older relation educated me in Mathew St of all places that what I was smelling around me was the herb
To have our future in our own hands is all we can ask for now. It still is a long way to go yet.
I remain resentful though that we have been cheated out of a middle of the table stress free season that we all needed and deserved. When you read about how Chelsea have been able to effectively sell a hotel they already owned to themselves again, and include the fee as a positive for PSR, then you know it is all rigged.

I've had the occasional spliff. Usually whilst very drunk and also in my 20s! My kids once commented that the whole of Liverpool stinks of weed. I hadn't noticed but I think they may have a point

I’ve never smoked either. It’s not easy being the only non smoker but I was more afraid of my Dad than the constant pressure of being the odd one out. If I had smoked and my Dad found out my life would not have been worth living. He was a life long smoker, having started in his early teens something he bitterly regretted in later life. He tried many times to pack it in but never succeeded and always said he had smoked his way through a Rolls Royce and row of houses. lol
