Gym and watching Vennels get her come uppence today.

The last week or so it's been a real pleasure taking the dog out across the fields and through the woods.
Currently we have rain of monsoon proportions, and the hourly weather forecast suggests it will be like this all day.
Oh well, boots and waterproofs it is then.

Really not looking forward to this.

Hope everyone has had a good day, big day out for me…visit to the chiropodist. Life doesn’t get better than this…..

Was on the golf course last week with a mate and he was telling me he’d had a visit to the chiropodist. His “happy ending” was putting his shoes back on, said it was bliss

Took the dog out for a walk. Not sure who looked more like a drowned rat after about 100 yards.

Mrs J went out to get some bedding plants and ss I was already soaked suggested that I plant them.

Like an idiot I agreed.

Good morning all. It's here. Bruuuuuce! It is also raining with weather warnings in place. Last time he played at the Stadium of Light it was June 2012 and the rain was of biblical proportions. Deja vu moment x

Back to the UK election, it always annoys me that the NI results take so much longer to come in than across the water. Although subsequently the day after an election is TV heaven for me with wall to wall local coverage. My coffee intake on these days is prodigious.

Mixed feelings here, life-long Labour voter but I really can’t stand Keir Starmer.

It is recommended that you soak plants before transplanting them !

Youngest son’s wedding on Loch Lomond on the 5th July , we’ll be down at the hotel on the Wednesday so having to organise postal votes but will still be up most of the night watching results come in. Mind you at 22:01 hrs we’ll get the results from the exit polls and they’re usually very reliable , even though it will swing a bit by mid morning.
