Husband’s the same. Left him watching Peston … I used to follow it avidly but I am just so disillusioned with things at the moment, the lack of fairness and honesty for example in things that have gone on over the terms of a few governments such as the post office stuff and the infected blood scandal, I find it just makes me cross and stressed.

I was quite impressed with his speech at tea time - he said the sort of things that I want to hear about attitudes and values, mind you I bet he’s had that one prepared for a while. I think we’ve had enough of charisma tbh

Off to the shops for paints ,I have this thing about brightly coloured almost childlike ,so when I make something I love to paint it in primary or secondary colours in that order .Not to everyones taste I am sure but makes us happy .

Morning all, not very Springlike this morning, cloudy, cool and very windy… on the other hand “Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May” and all that so perhaps it is. Not much planned for today in between school runs. Lots of jobs that need doing but the newspaper archives have updated the Peterborough papers which could keep me occupied for hours - tough choice. lol

This exactly- and their behaviour during COVID. There's loads more Let's hope Labour remember all the stuff...bedroom tax, London centric, broke communities in the North. All it achieved was to increase rents, and break families up.

Me too, I'm not mentally ready to go back to work after the situation I just went through over the last month and a half. Hero to zero in 48 hours.
Good morning all. I'll be honest. It wasn't my best Springsteen experience. Nothing to do with The Boss who was as awesome as ever. The E Street Band are sublime musicians and the atmosphere was amazing. The weather though - hours of relentless rain, cold, wet and miserable. Im definitely too old to be standing pitch side! I did say to Mr F before The Boss came on, that had it not been for the ticket prices I would have gone home hours ago. However "Sunderland, this is for you" Huge grin and opened with Waitin' On a Sunny Day. He's definitely got a sense of humour 
. His songs still touch my soul like nobody else's do.
Today is all about weddings. Heading to Nottingham soon. My beautifully styled barnet is wrecked due to yesterday's monsoon!

Prices now are a joke...priced a recent gig (not even an experienced act);US $240 per ticket for decent (not even great) seats.
Not a chance in hell I'm paying that to be surrounded by people gawking on their phones.
