Good morning all. I'll be honest. It wasn't my best Springsteen experience. Nothing to do with The Boss who was as awesome as ever. The E Street Band are sublime musicians and the atmosphere was amazing. The weather though - hours of relentless rain, cold, wet and miserable. Im definitely too old to be standing pitch side! I did say to Mr F before The Boss came on, that had it not been for the ticket prices I would have gone home hours ago. However "Sunderland, this is for you" Huge grin and opened with Waitin' On a Sunny Day. He's definitely got a sense of humour . His songs still touch my soul like nobody else's do.
Today is all about weddings. Heading to Nottingham soon. My beautifully styled barnet is wrecked due to yesterday's monsoon!

It’s never that straight forward in Irish politics jazzy.

What I do like about Starmer is that he has promised to repeal the Legacy Act which will be universally popular here. Also, Hillary Benn already looks a much better Secretary of State although that in itself wasn’t really much of a challenge.

Well, back from the GP...from what I can understand, he put me down as "disabled" (the form for work's words, not mine) until the same time next year as I went in to to Urgent Care this year so looks like I'll be going on short and then long term disability but I'll know more tomorrow after I talk to my FMLA case mgr (work uses a 3rd patry to handle this stuff) and then poss work's HR dpt. Glad I have all the sick and vacation time I do while I'm sorting all this out, it's a mess.

I can see @peteblue 's point ,we want all to be free to comment on whatever but there are other places where it is acceptable to argue a point . The line in my opinion is when one of us gets uncomfortable with a debate going on ,I am sure all will feel the same although I must stress from my own view no harm has been done with the discussion on politics yet .

Morning all, cloudy and cool yet again. Hoping it will clear up this afternoon as we are going to a wedding blessing, our neighbours were married on a cruise earlier this month and are having their marriage blessed in a local church. I’m quite excited, regular readers may know I just love weddings, ok I know it’s not technically a wedding but it’s as good as. I’ve even bought a frock for the occasion, last time I wore one was our nephew’s wedding five years ago, what can I say I’m a scruffy oik. lol
