Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

On the train to Leeds, made it to the station on time thanks to your directions @jazzy, hope the dog show makes loads of money, now get busy with that butter knife. As to my sanity Everton took that away years ago. Thanks for the kind words @Val P, enjoy the BBQ.
Just approaching Manchester anyone want to join me in a chorus of “You cheating b*****ds, you know what you are!”
Have a good day,all💙

Morning all,

Well that was another Dyche masterclass yesterday.

The team selections , tactics and lack of subs just do my head in.

It's obvious to everyone that Young was finished ages ago , Keane is crap and Doucoure one of the worst technical players to ever wear a blue shirt but yep , time after time Dyche picks them even when we have exciting alternatives ( Dixon , O'Brien and either Ndayie or Lundstrom ).

But of course they don't have PL experience ( just like those Brighton signings ) . Well how are they going to get any Sean?

I've heard that the Oxford English dictionary has agreed to the introduction of a new word . Yep a verb dyche as in "that was a terrible decision, he really dyched that up"

Anyway it's our brilliant fans that I feel sorry for , those that spend their hard earned cash watching that terrible stuff masquerading as football , especially our very own G &AT . Your commitment is fantastic even if I do question your sanity 😂 travelling hundred of miles and spending huge amounts of money to watch that.

So dreadful Dyche decides that ( and I wish he did this with his football tactics) that attack is the best form of defence and lashes out at our brilliant fans. Just a tip for you Sean. There's no future for any manager who attacks the fans regardless of whether we have any off the pitch leadership or not.

Anyway rant over - sorry.

Big summer dog show today so despite how pissed off I feel after yesterday's football I will put on my happy face to meet and greet the thousands ( slight over estimate 😂) who turn up today.

A final point. Just when you thought yesterday couldn't get any worse.....

I got back from the cricket ( we won yay ) and Mrs J told me she was popping out to Tesco to get the stuff to make 5000 butties today. She came back and said I've got something to cheer you up and gave me a big box of Peronis. "Great "I said "Thanks , but why did you get the 0% alcohol ones . Are you concerned that I'm drinking too much ?"

"Oops " was her reply.

Have a lovely day everyone.
I thought my weekend was bad! Hope the show goes well .

Oh well, not the result we were all hoping for but I had a good time despite Everton’s best efforts to ruin things. Had a lovely chat with @Val P and family, Met Ian Snodin after the game, who was a true gentleman and put up with my wittering on. Topped off by signal failure on Merseyrail and bus replacement service.
That’s good you had a good time despite the result. I must admit I’m tempted to call it a day on Goodison and just hold onto the good memories particularly those from the69/70 season when my then youthful exuberance, the Holy Trinity and success left unforgettable memories.

I was there for the great 80s team and that was wonderful.

We will never see those days again

Back home after the summer dog show.

It was a pretty good turnout. No idea as to the final figures but I took £730 on the gate. We don't charge for kids and it's £2 per adult so we had at least 365 people there but in reality with kids the figure is closer to 500.

Must admit I'm knackered now and as I rest watching the City v Chelsea game I tried one of those 0 %ers ! And yanno they're not too bad 😆.

The football is great , stuff we can only dream of seeing at Goodison.

Ah well have a lovely evening everyone.

Jazz my mate said drinking a none alcoholic beer is like watching porn on the radio ;)

Home safe and enjoyable time had result aside.

Yin and Yang. Had a lovely chat with an Isle of Man Blue at Bramley Moore pre game yet post game encountered a mouthy ‘man’ in the queue for the bus. He was fine to slabber at my wife (accused of queue jumping) but not so vocal to me when I interjected. Didn’t realise we were together as I was standing back a bit.

Never been called a ‘Paddy’ before 😀.

Idiots everywhere mate but we have more than our fair share in Liverpool. Cornwall is the opposite, as I imagine Armagh is.
