Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Promise this the last lot. South porch of St Nicholas Chapel, the roof depicts God surrounded by angels and demons. Lastly the statue of George Vancouver, after whom Vancouver is named, with the Customs House in the background.View attachment 271348View attachment 271349View attachment 271350
Those are amazing pictures, thanks for posting them, and the church looks so interesting, I’m fascinated by medieval history.
I’ve been through King’s Lynn a couple of times as a child in the mid 60s on our way to summer holidays. My biggest memory is my dad saying we needed to set off early to avoid the traffic jams in Kings Lynn. I’m sure it’s either not like that now or the jams are 20 times worse. Your pics always make me want to go back to Norfolk and I’m sure we will one day.

There’s a bypass now but that can get jammed particularly in the summer when everyone is heading to the coast. I always insist on setting off early, too. There’s a roundabout which I hate. Lots of people get into the wrong lane accidentally or on purpose for quick getaway at the traffic lights. My nightmare is being wedged between an artic lorry and a caravan. To avoid the worst of this we set off at the crack of dawn and can be parked up on the seafront at Hunstanton by 8.30.

Good morning all on this rainy day here ,I am only late posting because the wife seizes the chance to thrust the vacuum into my poor hands at the first sign of rain. So job done ,I hope all had a good night ,I rose from my slumber to check the news at 11.30 uk time to see nothing had happened only to get up to find Broja is on the books as @jazzy says he has never got my pulse racing ,it does seem a small risk though .
As @Armaghtoffee mentioned I too am in the Dyche camp but only by my fingertips and will let go if he plays the favourites (because they trained really well ) over the ones who could get us a win .
I saw a thing on the mail forecasting a 0-3 result today ,if that happens he must surely go ,was it true that Paddy power paid out last week ?
Have a great day all COYB

Morning everyone,

Well , a bit of last minute excitement last night - don't get too excited G I was talking about Broja coming on loan just before the window slammed shut ! 😂

Signing an injured player , very Everton but this looks a no risk signing for once.

Massive game today , we just have to win . Not sure how tenable Dyche's job would be if he goes with his favourites, we lose and end up with 0 points after 3 games entering the international break.

Anyway it's a gorgeous day today so after a fry up ( my only guilty secret food wise for the week ) , I will cut some grass and then go down to the cricket and sit in the sun with a couple of beers whilst I listen to Everton.

Have a lovely day everyone
Spoilsport!

Terrible confession...I've never been to Norfolk.

The furthest east I've been is Lincoln and G's home town of Peterborough.

Morning all, as you say @jazzy - a beautiful morning here in the NW and looking forward to a trip over to see the game later. I’m allowing myself a bit of optimism after Tuesday but agree that he can’t stick with his favourites and expect a different outcome. We really need those 3 points so 🤞.
Have a great day everyone 💙
Yep if I hear Coleman , Young , Keane or Doucoure in the line up I'm booing , even if everyone at the cricket thinks I'm mad 😂

Haha. What you really mean H is that you arrive there at the crack of dawn. You set off in the middle of the night.😀
