There's been 3 albums released in the last week or so I've absolutely loved. Wunderhorse, Fontaines and a band called Magdalena Bay. The latter I'd never heard of was a recommendation from Coollino. Not normally my genre. Bit like Cocteau Twins with Vangelis on keys and Kylie on vocals. But sonically it pushed buttons I didn't know existed. Definitely worth a listen.

Cheers! My offering for tonight is experimental and following the recent discovery that I love tequila. Never had a margarita before. I’m waiting for Mr P to get home - he’s currently stuck in traffic following the accident on the M6 right near where we live which has closed the M6 and totally gridlocked north of Wigan/Standish. Thankfully no one it seems is seriously injured. The lorry crossed the central reservation into the north bound lanes and shed its load of cans of beer and cider. He’s not a very happy chap atm as he set off at 3 to take my son to pick his car up from its MOT.

Evening everyone, as we were at a loose end we decided to take the bus to Kings Lynn, which is about 36 miles away. May as well use the bus pass while we have it in case it goes the way of the Winter Fuel Allowance. Despite passing by hundreds of times on the way to the coast we’ve never stopped off at Lynn. It was one of the richest towns in England in medieval times and although its glory days are long gone it’s still got some lovely places to visit. Here’s a few pics.
Kings Lynn Minster, former Benedictine Priory, the brass dedicated to Adam de Walsoken d 1349 and his wife Margaret and the Hanseatic chest used for storing valuables which dates to the 15th century and was made in Poland.

Some crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. 3 measures Tequila, 2 measures Cointreau, measure Honey Liqueur, dash of bitters, juice of half lime. Give it a good shake and serve in cocktail glass with salt/lime around the rim optional. You can use Triple sec instead of Cointreau and sugar syrup instead of honey Liqueur if you want to be a cheapskate😀

Well , a bit of last minute excitement last night - don't get too excited G I was talking about Broja coming on loan just before the window slammed shut ! 😂

Signing an injured player , very Everton but this looks a no risk signing for once.

Massive game today , we just have to win . Not sure how tenable Dyche's job would be if he goes with his favourites, we lose and end up with 0 points after 3 games entering the international break.

Anyway it's a gorgeous day today so after a fry up ( my only guilty secret food wise for the week ) , I will cut some grass and then go down to the cricket and sit in the sun with a couple of beers whilst I listen to Everton.

I went to bed as the Nuamah deal collapsed and have awoken to read we signed Broja. Hmm, seems like we have no real plan at all. No risk signing granted but he hasn’t exactly stood out for me when he has played.

I agree about the pressure on Dyche. He needs a win today or serious questions will have to be asked about him. I remain in the ‘Dyche in’ camp as I think anyone would struggle here but fact remains it is a results business.
