Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

3000 pages next who would have thought it even after Messy's heart breaking and inspirational initial message.

Up early today to make Mrs Js breakfast who is off to the charity shop today.

Somewhat stupidly she is leaving me in charge so that starts with feeding the outdoor animals!

Mums blood pressure is all over the place at the moment so I will be consulting with the Dr and see if they can revise her medication but if that doesn't work I've got @blueloon as a back up plan.

Then a bit of yoga ( did I tell you I am stiff as a board after 12 matches of table tennis on Sunday ) and then I might even sit in the sun with a book for a couple of hours... wahayyy!

Have a lovely day everyone.

Ah but that's the point. It's not going to be thrown away , it will.all go to a very good cause and on behalf of Mrs J and the animals ( surely a pop group in the making ) we thank Anj and her family and are truly grateful.
Bad choice of words on my part. I should have said impossible to part with anything. I just have to look at an object and the memories come flooding back - that’s the reason I still have a squeaky Womble given to me by the tea-lady when I left work prior to the birth of our son, 45 years ago  I’m happy to let anything from the recent past go but anything older eg board games, toys and the outfits I wore to our kids weddings I let Mr G. sort through and take when I’m not there to see it. Mrs J. and the Animals, would love to hear them do House of the Rising Sun.

Yeah they got an offer to release a record but it was too much of a burdon .

No AT not misspelt, but one for the much older posters .

Good morning early birds no problem here other than reading the posts .Yes @jazzy what an inspiration Karl has become for us all on here ,I think @Armaghtoffee has been on the booze or as @Gwladysover says has the table the wrong way up .
We have though played some decent football in spasms but with Keano there is always a mistake waiting to happen and the fragility of these players means we cannot cope so I too am looking forward to Jarrad getting back
I hope all had a good night and have a good day today ,we all know what that would involve ! COYB.
For those who stream I renewed my subscription yesterday and chose an alternative ,look how many channels ! It must be close to all there are surely .1726554381702.webp

Ok , I don’t give out my “ non - Doctor” BP tips to anyone , but seeing as it’s your mum : 1 . Eat a banana a day 2. Do regular runs of at least 10 km , this may take a year to build up to and may cause issues in other areas such as knees , backs but is worth it!!🙂

Morning all, hope everyone is well. I’m now having to stop myself mentally doing a playlist for Mrs J and the animals. Another lovely day here in the NW in which I shall be relaxing in the sun and psyching myself up to go to the game tonight. I’ve had a request from son and his other friends who are newish parents to knit pumpkin hats for the three babies for a thing they’re going to at Halloween so I might make a start on those.
Have a great day and let’s hope Everton don’t spoil it 💙

I had a look at the league table today for the first time this year and it isn’t as scary as I expected. With some very winnable games coming up, we should start climbing to mid table obscurity soon. Get Branthwaite back in and I will be a lot more confident of doing that.
I agree with you. As desperate as it feels a couple of wins should make the league look better. Apart from the catastrophic ends to the recent games I think we’ve played some decent football and the two new signings bring so much to the team. I hate picking out players but Keane is and always has been a liability. Ever the optimist.

Definite green shoots of improvement for me football wise with Branthwaite still to come in. There seems to be more goals in us as well this year.

Eric Burdon had a great voice and he was a bit of a looker, too. Bring it On Home was one of the first records I ever bought. Drove everyone potty playing it over and over. Still gets me even after nearly 60 years, can’t be 60 YEARS!!!! Christ I’m old. :(

I never realised how big his ears are ,yes a goodlooking guy though . I hope they never paid the guy "dancing " at the back !

Good morning all on this foggy day here yet ,we are waiting for the guy to empty the cesspit so a quick cuppa before the aroma that might ensue -not me of course just the wife causing it !
I hope all are well despite the latest disappointment in blue and have a fine day ,I feel obliged to say I thought it was the best game Keano has played in a long while and as one who is in the get rid camp I needed to post that . COYB
