Im actually a bit concerned about what’s happening at the Inn at the moment. While our main cat (Reese) tolerated the other cat while outside, he wasn’t as happy when we allowed her inside the house. The temperature dropped below zero yesterday so we left them both inside the house so hopefully they are getting along and we don’t find a dead cat for Christmas Day

It was meant to be just like our first cat was, he also showed to our door a few years back. Oddly enough I was never a cat person until he came to our lives. Before then I always had doggies, our last one a Siberian Husky that we put to sleep at age 15.

I had an Irish Border Collie, my best mate growing up, gorgeous dog straight out of Babe (watch that movie)..

Chased the puppy food fueled missile into several neighbours gardens.

Miss her every day.

In hindsight, Bowring Park was no place for a working dog like her but she was loved.

30 years ago my wife was in Broadgreen Hospital having heart surgery.

I couldn't face going home and just started walking and found myself there.

I think I walked every blade of grass before I returned to the hospital.

Quick update guys. The ham is cooked. Looks and smells fabulous. Wine is flowing and I'm feeling very mellow. So mellow that all your posts are making me quite emotional. If I start telling you later that I love you all, ignore me. It's the wine talking! Although I do like you all but more of a (wo)manly hug than a snog. ? ?

Our main cat goes in and out and mostly poops in our garden so I have to have met over the plants I don’t want him to destroy. But we had a litter box so I left it for her just in case.

Had multiple family members darken/brighten Broagreen Hospitals' doorstep mate.
My old man's ticker had him there on a regular basis, I was raised not far off Tommy Lane so...
The staff there were unbelievable, I'm sure that rings true for your Mr's as well mate?

Yeah. Brewed by Sharps at Rock. The Doom Bar in question is at the mouth of the Camel River, a mile or so from Rock.

Korev is the local larger brewed by St Austells. I believe it is actually the Cornish word for beer . It's boss too.

In answer to your first point Sassy it was about animal welfare but today's not the day to expand on that.

I just want everyone to have a great time.

I actually became a vegetarian myself for the same reason years ago but my body craved meat too much I will also tell you more about at another time.

I love animals, I've had an African Grey parrot called Boris who used to eat chicken wings.

An Irish Border Collie bitch called "paddy".

A cat called "Mavis"

A goldfish called "Goldie Hawn".

Yep she had 2 ops there , last one 6 years ago but she's fine , they did a wonderful job.
