I'm good mate. I've missed doing the things we normally do in the build up to Christmas, like going to Christmas markets an visiting the many big houses down here that open to the public to show off the deccies. But it's been a good day today posting in here, having a beer a listening to Christmas songs. Had a bit of a winge when Mud's Lonely this Christmas came on, but apart from that I've been great.@Barnfred 55
Think we are both in the same Christmas boat this year. I am sure there are others, so apologies/sympathy if I have not twigged them. I dont know about you, but I feel pretty detatched from everything. Not in a sad way, but like missing a concert that you might have enjoyed.
Zoom call tomorrow with the family and my Dad who is in hospital, lunch after that with Mum, and to lob another log on the fire, a blind(ish) date on the 27th. Life is just mental.
Take care my friend, it seems you have a smashing circle of supportive pals in that there Cornwall, and most of all, Happy Christmas.
Hey, stop stealing my thunder lolKorev is the St Austell Brewery's lager.
Shameless hussy! lolShame on me
It most certainly does.I don't drink a lot of lager but Korev goes nicely on a summer's day watching the waves.

Enjoy Christmas with your mum tomorrow. Are you doing the cooking or is she still up to the task.? Hope your dad's OK.
That's lovely. I'm a cat person. I like dogs too but have never had one. All our cats have been rescues or strays that have chosen us.Btw, since we are having a dog and cat discussion today, I wanted to tell you that while in Costa Rica a female young cat began sleeping on our outside couch (we been seeing her in the security camera the hubby installed before we left) and to our surprise our cat has allowed her to do so which is strange as he can be bit territorial. Now that we are back my daughter begged us to adopt her so it seems for Christmas Santa sent her/us an unexpected gift.
A little bird tells me there may be a few additions to the family in another 2/3 months Sass lolBtw, since we are having a dog and cat discussion today, I wanted to tell you that while in Costa Rica a female young cat began sleeping on our outside couch (we been seeing her in the security camera the hubby installed before we left) and to our surprise our cat has allowed her to do so which is strange as he can be bit territorial.
