Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I forgot to mention that for many years it wasn't Christmas until I have watched Jason and the Argonauts- the Ray Harryhausen stop go animation one. Mostly because we always watched it as kids.It always seemed to be on on Boxing Day. I've trawled through all the schedules and can't find it this year.
You say that every year , and I say It's a Wonderful Life which was fantastic again tonight x

Chrimbo Eve food prep done, watched Home Alone with the boys in our matching jarmies (even the puppy got in on the act!), left a cookie, carrot and the good rum out for Father Chrimbo and Rudolph. Didn’t get kids to bed until 10pm so Operation Father Chrimbo is only just about to start. I’ve afforded myself a rum and Pepsi Max as a reward.

Well it’s now Christmas Day, my wife is in bed and I’ll sit up for a couple of hours to make sure she gets a proper sleep. Anyway Merry Christmas to you all, I hope you have a wonderful day with your families or friends and speak later today. God bless you all…….
All the best Pete glad Kay is home sending you and the family best wishes

Since moving to Canada we don’t have Christmas dinner till 6-7 pm, I remember back at home we ate around 2-3 o’clock, just wondering what time folk have your Christmas dinner , I think it’s a North American thing to eat later.

I would just like to say Merry Christmas to all on here and all the best for the New Year
I need my dinner at 2pm (finishes in time for the King’s speech) to help soak up the ale; if I left it until 6pm, I’d likely fall asleep beforehand.

Mass was lovely as always, so now it’s time for bed before the expected 6am (ish) wake up call.
