Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Thank you Gladys, Val and Ange for by your support šŸ’™. Well I finished my marathon in 4 hrs 7 mins , probably the hardest I’ve done as I started puking up the gel I’d taken at 6 miles and had a lot of retching afterwards but I finished 8 mins faster than last year and first M70. My family were at the finish and Eilidh my granddaughter ran the last 50 yards with me so it was a lovely family occasion šŸ™‚. Knackered now šŸ˜‚
Congratulations and Very well done! Glad to help even if only in a small way. Hope lots of money was raised.

Ok we had a fab day out ....

Here's a few photos....the 3 idiots in the media centre , the gorgeous Old Lady , Sir Rupert's tower, home dressing room ( very basic ), our glorious future.View attachment 303812View attachment 303813

Sounds like a grand day out and great pics.

You’re very welcome- it’s such a wonderful cause and you’ve done brilliantly. It sounds like a lovely occasion for your family - I bet they’re so proud of you.šŸ’™
Yep the finish area was great as a video and photos have emerged of Eilidh and I finishing with me holding her hand and of the family with their sign, they will last much longer than my current aches šŸ™‚

I know the owner is a Brexit loving balloon but £10 for fish and chips and a pint of Guinness in Weatherspoons is ridiculous value , and that's where we ended up after our Everton tour yesterday.

I was so well behaved, just 3 beers, and the train home.

Anyway Mrs J off to the Rescue shop today so I've got to do the chickens, goats and sheep and sort mum out before I can get to the gym.

Just heard a Mrs J rant and I can officially confirm that she's turned into a Reform supporter.... "Sack the Birmingham bin men , force students to repay student loans instead of dodging it by getting low paid jobs for X number of years and compulsorily purchase empty care homes and put all the geriatric patients in there to free up hospital beds....."

Rosie going crazy at every dog that is walking past.

Just another relaxing morning in the jazzy household.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Jazzy do I remember you were in contact with Terrarian over a fridge ? Could you mail him to see if he is OK ?

Morning all, rain here this morning which is good for the garden as we have had none for weeks now, not so good for daughter who was hoping to meet up with her old school friends and their children in the local country park. We called in to see DIL and grandkids 1 &2 yesterday . Harry is a big fan of online games and apparently had been on the end of a talk from his parents about online safety . His reply ā€œWell Nanny talks to people online and she’s even met some of them!ā€ Always knew I’d set a bad example.
Have a good day, all.šŸ’™

After a hard morning on the picket line, our go to place to thaw out was Wetherspoons- the large full English is incredible value. Nothing like a dose of double standards🤣 We were more than willing to hand over our cash to the tax dodging Brexiteer!
