Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Thanks for sharing this story, LT. What a nice article and how wonderful of the Club to have treated this American fan the way they did. Our Everton is the peoples’ club and I look forward to having the same opportunity of visiting a full Goodison before we move to the new stadium. It is my current dream.
You need to get to the Old Lady before we move Sassy, hopefully an unobstructed view as well lol She's a magnificent stadium and was the first of her kind when built. History.

Same here. I only ever do ours when the jackpot is huge. All I think about is how much fun I could have sharing it - because what's the point of being able to do anything you want if you can't share those experiences with anybody or make things better for them by spreading your good fortune.

A private box at Bramley Moore is on my list of must haves when I eventually win!! To be honest if I won enough I'd ask for a seat on the board. lol lol
I don’t get all those people that have a lot of money and are not doing anything good with it. I’m like you, it gives me great satisfaction sharing even the little resources that I have with others.

A private box at Bramley Moore sounds very nice indeed, I think with $520 million we should be able to buy us all one of those lol

Let's make it happen, wouldn't it be great when conditions are better if the regulars on here could have a 'Messy meet up' Karl would have loved that.

I watched Howard’s way and have also seen various clips of fans roaring while at Goodison and I would love to experience the same glory myself. Our goal was to make it to Liverpool this year but now something has come up that may interrupt my dream. I will tell you all about it later, I’m still pondering what to do.

@jazzy will be going, hopefully he can take a pic for us all. I believe @Leylo also mentioned that the remembrance will be post it online so we should be able to find Karl’s pic once it is posted.

How are you doing @Reedy1979? I know you are not an Evertonian and Karl brought you to this forum but you will always find friends among ourselves. So come and visit us whenever you want to. X
I'm OK thanks. Funeral is on Friday, Karl wants all his Bearers in matching blue formal shirts. We've go one close to Everton blue x ?

How nice of you all to do this for Karl and how fitting of Karl to make you do this on his honour. Even when he is not longer here he is proving how devoted and how deep his love for Everton was. I know his family and most of his friends don’t know about us and the close relationship we developed with him but if you have the chance to say something please let them know how special he was for us and how much impact his thread has had on this forum. He is gone from this earth but he will long live in our blue hearts ?

What a cow. I hate managers like that. Bullies who prey on people they perceive as "weak". I would imagine that Asda probably had things in place to give you time off for hospital appointments but she was ignoring them.

You've reminded me why I decided to become a union rep many years ago. I hate injustice and although I did get to quite a senior position within the union I liked being a branch rep best of all. Helping my members in my office. I only gave up about a year ago and still that part of it.
One word sums that up Anj. Bullies. Worked with a few over the years. Fortunately most of them weren't my line manager.

Having seen the team sheets I feel a bit better about this. Dom,Allan and Gray back for us and Lamptey rested for them. Still absolutely hate the fact Digne still left out though.
I agree with your feelings regarding Digne, I would have started him but we know how Benitez is and once he dislikes someone then he won’t playing them not matter if we need them badly. That’s why I don’t think he is a good manager.
