Morning all, bright morning here albeit a bit chilly. Daughter and her family coming round for Sunday dinner today. Have been asked to bake a cake and jam tarts. When I was little jam tarts were something I ate when there wasn’t anything better on offer now my granddaughters consider them a treat and always ask me to bake some for them, times change. No , I didn't dissect them in that way blue , just gobbled them up!

Mrs J still complaining about her ear but the course of anti biotics is yet to finish.

We're quite lucky to have so many designated walks round about us, plenty of history to ponder as well.
Enjoy your walk, at least there's no game to get angry at today.

I'm substittuting helping Mrs J re-organise the charity shop for yoga. Should be safe enough as there's only me and her in there!

How are your mum and dad LT ? Presume that your daughter is coming home today. Mrs J said if we lived a bit closer we could pop in and she would do their meals but even for us it would be a 2 hour round trip.

Yes mate, my daughter is coming home sometime today, my dad who's the main concern at the moment is improving slightly as his injuries from his fall are slowly healing but he's being overwhelmed by short periods of depression which do seem to be lessening as the medication is slowly kicking in.
Thank you for your kind thoughts towards them but between them they're able to get by with the assistance we are giving them at the moment.
It is only now I fully appreciate the work my brother must put in on a day to day basis as well as his full time job.

Yorkshire tea is the best for me too Jazzy.
Haven't seen that one, must start dunking my jam on toast in my tea for effect.
