You have no idea how much I would love to be doing that walk now. God I miss Liverpool.Absolutely. I definitely need to clear my head but its not such much rural but a walk along the river up to by bramley Moore for me .
I’m sure it won’t be long mateYou have no idea how much I would love to be doing that walk now. God I miss Liverpool.
Cal used to do the same, then go and butter a slice of white bread and make a butty out of it, wiping up the last of the gravy.lol
On a roast I like to save a little forkful of nearly everything at the end !
They are a North- Eastern company but they have local rounds do biscuits, cakes etc as well.Never heard of them Gwladys
Every day's a schoolday. Completely new to me , must check them out. They are a North- Eastern company but they have local rounds do biscuits, cakes etc as well.
Is there much sign of building work up there Harry or is it still just draining the dock ?Absolutely. I definitely need to clear my head but its not such much rural but a walk along the river up to by bramley Moore for me .
@Gwladysover - have you tried Heck veggie sausages yet ? Saw them for the 1st time about a month ago in Tesco - they were fantastic - but not seen any in there sine. You could do them vegan bangers and mash and see if they can tell the difference.
I know I keep harping on about Cornwall but we do actually grow our own tea down here at the Tregothnan Estate on the banks of the Fal. Never tried it as its very artisan and therefore very expensive.Strange how you never see any tea plantations stretched across the pennines?
We were the same. We would occasionally go out for a Sunday roast to a fairly local pub that did the best roast beef. But we liked ours quite late, around 5/6 pm and after the first covid lockdown they changed the Sunday food hours to 12-3 and we hadn't been since.Totally with you on that one Fred the flavours are all meant to compliment each other.
Having said that I can guarantee that when my mum gives the dogs her roast chicken meal today ( It's like a religion she MUST have a roast on a Sunday even in summer - who does that anymore - we probably have 1 roast a month in winter and again at Easter ) they will eat all the chicken first and then the veg and spuds.
I like Ringtons. I have one on my phone.I like Rington’s -we have it delivered there’s posh!lol
Did you not bite a smartie in half then melt the chocolate filling before eating the coating ? I must see that psychiatrist once I have put all the cutlery facing the same way .Never understood people who eat the chocolate off chocolate bars first. Same with people who eat the meat on roast dinners first, then the veg and save the roadies until last. Swear they'd do the same with the gravy if they could?
My mum used to bake virtually every Sunday, usually apple pie. If there was a bit of pastry left over she would make jam tartsMorning all, bright morning here albeit a bit chilly. Daughter and her family coming round for Sunday dinner today. Have been asked to bake a cake and jam tarts. When I was little jam tarts were something I ate when there wasn’t anything better on offer now my granddaughters consider them a treat and always ask me to bake some for them, times change. Have a good day all.
They don't actually eat roadies. Damned phone. I did of course mean roasties.Never understood people who eat the chocolate off chocolate bars first. Same with people who eat the meat on roast dinners first, then the veg and save the roadies until last. Swear they'd do the same with the gravy if they could?
