Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I see Doucoure has done an article in the RS Echo, effectively saying that playing in a midfield 3 is better than playing 2. Also says he loves his partnership with Allan who he considers a great player.

Can anyone see this ending well? We'll have no players left at this rate. lol
He will be next out the door. It's getting like China or Russia , criticise the leader and you're toast.

Good morning guys and gals ,tho' not too many on lately . I hope all are firing on all cylinders today and had agreat sleep .
-22° yesterday and 0° today ,I love Finland ,so time to get the snow blower fixed before we get more snow ,I have enjoyed clearing it by hand ( well you know what I mean ) we have a bit to do and I have been puffing for tugs at the end but that is what the doctor recommends ,a light sweat and puffing twice a week .Doctor or not a will enjoy just walking behind a machine as I can think of other ways to get the sweat .
I bought lamb's neck on Monday and I will cook it at the weekend so any recommendations must be submitted before the end of the day in a sealed envelope and the result will be announced in due course .
The favourite from the interweb up until now is a Greek stew .So give it your best ,the winner will receive high praise .
Have great day all .

Morning blue.

Sounds mighty cold , too cold for me.

Well I am knackered today.

Remenber I said that the area around the animal.enclosure is like quagmire. So, yesterday I moved and laid 30 double sized paving slabs to give the goats a dry area immediately in front of their stables . Really suffering in my back today.

However preparations for hopefully going away continues a pace and I need to carry out some minor repairs to fencing and stable. Sometimes I wish I was back in work , not really. I'm not at all handy with DIY which is ironic as my late dad was a master carpenter making furniture.

Anyway the weather for working outdoors is wonderful today so I hope y'all have a good time.

@fanhow is the painting going?

Morning all, bright, cold frosty morning here today although @blue1948 would probably consider it verging on the tropical! Spent yesterday afternoon clearing out the small bedroom, after being persuaded that it would be a good idea to start Spring cleaning. My “treasures” are regarded by the husband as junk, to be fair he does have a point as I am unable to part with many things which for me hold sentimental value so the stuff has accumulated over the years. I even have the rattles our son was given and he’s 42 this year.. However I gritted my teeth and now have boxes to go to the skip and charity shop and am under pain of death if I attempt to retrieve anything ?. Hope your back improves @jazzy and Happy Birthday @anjelikaferrett .Have a good day all.

You have goats? I love goats! Not quite the same but I still miss our two sheep that we had to rehome last year when the owner of the field next door that the sheep had 'accidentally" broken into turned up and wanted them out. Had never been seen for the whole 5 years we had the sheep.

Good morning all. Hope you are all well. @blue1948 that is bloody freezing! Its a tropical 5C here!
Yes today I'm celebrating another journey round the sun! Going out for a meal tonight with the other half and catching up with an old friend on Friday - another Scouse Evertonian who I worked with in Birkenhead and who ended up marrying a bloke from Hartlepool. They moved to Hartlepool from Liverpool 13 years ago when they had twins. Her husband has family up here and it was a help with child care.

I've been very spoiled so far. Two more bottles of Baileys have found their way to me. I'm never going to get this healthy eating started! Might have to binge drink Baileys from now until Sunday night! It's a hard life but sacrifices have to made. Might stay in my pj's all day as an extra treat.

Happy birthday Anj. I'm a gentleman and won't ask how old you are, but I believe you'd be around the same age as Cal who would have been 61 on Saturday. :) .

It's actually my eldest sisters birthday today who is 76. And one of my other sisters is 64 on Friday. Lot's of Capricorns about it seems, Is that why you like Goats? lol .

I once looked up the traits of Capricorn, as Cal was one, and one of the listed weaknesses is they are renowned for being a "know it all". Maybe I should have been a Capricorn Jazz. ;)

You are totally right about the age! It's one of those how on earth did I suddenly end up being this old? In my head I'm still 19 but the body says different.
