Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good evening, friends. I hope everyone is having good mid week.

I am still recovering, I had a very rough night on Monday and I was coughing so much that I started getting nervous about the possibility of having covid and having to go to the hospital. Thankfully we got our CPR lab results on Tuesday and they both came back negative so it is just a really bad flu but one we have not encountered like this in ages. Today my daughter woke up with a fever too so it seems she also gotten it now but hopefully she will start feeling better soon too. And eventhough I have not been feeling 100% I have been working because the spring semester at my college began this Monday and I felt the need to push myself so I could assist many of my students who still needed advising appointments but after next week things should slow down and things would be more calm again so I can stop more often to greet you all.

That's a bit harsh
That was certainly not my intention :p I was just wondering because my bones really hurt when it gets really cold (specially my feet) so I was wondering if the same happens to him or if his body has adjusted to such cold weather. After decades of living in the US mine still is not used to it.

At least its not Covid

Just a little catch up on our conversation the other day re. medical cannabis, me for instance when I have it, my painkiller intake goes down considerably, because it relaxes all my muscles the headaches almost disappear and I can get through days with no painkillers, whereas normally I use my full daily quota.

It's so backward that it's not legal here.
That's exactly the sort of benefit that people like yourself who live in constant pain could get from the legalization of medical marihuana, it makes no sense that narcotics are freely prescribed while cannabis is illegal. If the legality aspect ever changes I will be happy to mail you some of my thc gummies as a gift, they are made locally by a friend and really good to ease pain.

I have a very busy day lined up as I make preparations for my trip up to Liverpool on Friday. Plus the neighbour is coming around this afternoon to show me how to use my iron and give me a lesson in ironing. If I plan it right she'll end up doing most of it. lol . Yeah I know. But if you recall she also had to come around and show me how to use the washing machine too. . I'm an expert now.

Anyway I'll catch up on this thread later. Have a good day all.
Dear, Fred. I hope your preparations are going well and that you managed to get your neighbour to do your ironing. That's actually my environmental sin, I can't wear clothes that are wrinkle so I'm an expert at ironing, my nana actually thought me how to proper iron when I was still a girl. In the US people don't iron as much, some Americans can be bit sloppy they way they dress thus it is not surprising going out and seeing people with clothes super wrinkle but I can't stand it. It seems you like to look as sharp as me so you better learn the task and don't get burned my friend. xx

Good morning all. Hope you are all well. @blue1948 that is bloody freezing! Its a tropical 5C here!
Yes today I'm celebrating another journey round the sun! Going out for a meal tonight with the other half and catching up with an old friend on Friday - another Scouse Evertonian who I worked with in Birkenhead and who ended up marrying a bloke from Hartlepool. They moved to Hartlepool from Liverpool 13 years ago when they had twins. Her husband has family up here and it was a help with child care.

I've been very spoiled so far. Two more bottles of Baileys have found their way to me. I'm never going to get this healthy eating started! Might have to binge drink Baileys from now until Sunday night! It's a hard life but sacrifices have to made. Might stay in my pj's all day as an extra treat.
I hope you had a lovely birthday dinner and lovely birthday, Ange. xx

After experimenting with Fred's orgasms I have also been hooked to Baileys and looks forward to finishing the rest of the bottle after I'm done with my dry January.
