Could be this thread's theme tune lol

Just back. Never talked footie all night. Just good times from the past. Good memories.

How are you doing mate?. Hope that bag of poo today not playing on your mind.

Think positively. We had Mina and Dom starting today we'd have had a 2 goal cushion I reckon

A little annoyed but it's Everton I've come to expect it really. Yeah missing your main CB and ST will reduce your chances. Also Richarlison which would have given us options off the bench.

Glad you had a good night with happy memories.

I am not a reigious guy but the ones I know say that the ultimate aim in life is to leave your mark ,you my friend have done that and some .
I know from your posts you might not have long ,to show us all what humility and strength are on a day to day basis but you will be revered on this site as long as I and many others visit , for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope one day I will have your wherewithal when I need it most .
You are an inspiration to all who have visited this link and been lucky enough to get to know you from a distance the luckiest know you in person .
Enjoy the match .COYB
I second that, well said mate

Had a mad busy couple of days, so haven't had a chance to post until now. Just wanted to say that the more I read your posts, the more fond of you I become.

Apart from your courage and positivity in dealing with your situation, the kindness you've shown in wanting to help others, when it would be perfectly understandable to just focus on yourself, is truly heartwarming. You really are an absolute star.

You've also given me the idea that maybe everyone should plan their own funeral because we never know when or how suddenly we're going to go.

A mate of mine planned his funeral in his 30s, when he was perfectly healthy. At the time, I thought it was premature and a little morbid, but now I think he was right.

The song he wanted played was Days by The Kinks. Not a song I particularly like, but when I checked the lyrics, the words are brilliantly poignant for a funeral.

I have no idea what songs I'd choose for my own funeral. Difficult to get the right combination of really liking the song, but with relevant lyrics. I'd also have to resist an initial temptation to choose Going Underground by The Jam.

Hope the Blues put on a good performance for you today and we get three massive points.

Take care mate. X
I agree mate, none of us know when we'll be called or if each passing day is our last. We should live like that, make the most out of each day, we should learn to bury grudges especially with family members and friends. Ive picked my songs z cars leaving the house, a couple of latin hymns for chapel and forever Everton from hearse to grave. I wanted skid rows i remember you, too.

Goodnight @messymascot and good luck tomorrow @Barnfred 55
Morning Messy. Hope you slept well.

Busy day for me. Going to sort out her bank account first. The manager there is a good friend and the lady I'm seeing is a sweetheart who used to work for me so I'm lucky I'm in good hands. Then it's on to the funeral directors to finalise the arrangements. Can't believe it's over 3 weeks since I first spoke to them.

Then my brother in law is coming over and we're seeing the celebrant to sort out the service. So a busy day and I've got one helluva hangover.

Well at least it stops me thinking about that performance yesterday hey mate.

Catch up on you later

Hope all goes well for you on what is going to be a difficult day but as you say you are in good hands and will be looked after well. You will be in my thoughts, take care.?

Morning Messy. Hope you are doing OK today. It is absolutely p*ss*ng down here in Bonny Scotland! Our journey was eventful. Satnav decided to send us on a ferry. That was OK but there was a second ferry. That was not sailing. So a two hour detour later, across single track roads with passing places and me feeling like a boss rally driver ( poor husband was a bit pale!) we finally arrived. It's lovely. The hotel is on a gorgeous stretch of beach looking out towards the Isles of Jura and Islay. I need to get out though - to walk off the enormous full Scottish breakfast I've just troughed- and the three pints of Guinness from last night! Hope you have a good day x

Morning @messymascot. Hope you had a good night's sleep.

Poor performance from the Blues yesterday. I can't understand why Benitez left Iwobi on the pitch for 78 minutes, until after we'd gone behind, and Rondon for the whole match when they were both beyond awful.

Rondon offers literally nothing and even gets in the way of his teammates. Dobbin couldn't possibly be any worse and can actually run. If nothing else, his youthful exuberance would at least be more of a nuisance to defenders.

They were both so bad, subbing both of them much sooner seemed the obvious choice. Let's hope Richy and DCL are back for Watford.

I know we didn't have many options attacking wise but we all knew the ones he picked would struggle. If they are both fit Richarlison needs to start alongside Rondon. Then bring DCL into it. I also thought Townsend and Grey were poor but given they are wingers and how good they've been it was probably due, just a shame it was both of them in the same game. Benitez must have lost confidence in Davies has he normally gives him some minutes at the end. I want to see 4-3-3 at some point as it will mean we can rotate the attackers and it will give us some options off the bench. Doucoure and Allan would also benefit as it's an extra pair of legs in there. Currently they are playing 90 minutes every game just about. If two from Gbamin, Gomes, Delph and Davies stepped up one would start the other would come on when we needed fresh legs midway through a game.
