Not my normal chirpy self this morning ,what a shambles .I have never like FSW but in ways I have tried to reason his plan but yesterday he once again played a player with no chance of playing well .Effectively we are a man down to start .
Keane's own goal can happen to anyone but he is not the centre half we need ,before we signed him Lukaku made a show of him and I hoped he would not sign ,he has never changed my mind .
He continuallyleaves us outnumbered in midfield . I just hope he goes if he doesn't then Ferguson should go ,what is he doing I ask you ?
It is like watching a blind man driving a three wheeled bus in reverse .

Paracetamol , water , coffee . OK here goes ....... Anje is doing overtime , AT has a successful sports team , and Sassy's expecting snow , lot's of it.

Oh and we managed to lose to Norwich lol and Benny boy is going and coording to blue being replaced by Bilic.

Move slowly. No sudden shocks to the system. The only thing I can add to Jazzys excellent summary is that @Brett Angell Delight and his sons made some fab cakes, @Gwladysover had a belated Christmas tea with the grandkids and @Terrarian had steak and Stilton for tea ( or was that the day before?)

Had a great night reminiscing the old days last night. Everybody was passing around old photos they had on their phone. Somebody brought out a photo of some Speke lads we all knew taken with Duncan McKenzie in Rotterdam 1985. I didn't realise what it was at first but when it sunk in I knew that I was with them. That's me I exclaimed. Second left on the top. No way haha. I was that pissed I don't even remember it being taken.

That is really a very very special photo to me. Always said that day was my second best day out ever after my wedding day. And Dunc was my hero.

Can't help feeling Cal pulled a blinder there. I didn't even know that picture existed. And it looks like I'm wearing an Everton hat. I've never owned an Everton hat in my life ?

Yes mate, ginger flapjack.

Made it in the Thermomix, but it’s easily adaptable:


So you’ll need to chop/blitz the ginger finely, and then add to a large saucepan with the butter and sugars/syrup before heating gently to melt everything. Stir through your oats and Bob’s your uncle.

I used a small, deep baking tin so ended up baking for about 40 mins.

You’ve got me smiling this morning which is some achievement, what a trip that was . As a chubby faced teenager it was quite the eye opener let me tell you .

It was a fantastic week H. We spent 5 days in Amsterdam, getting the train in to Rotterdam on the day of the match. Took in the FA cup final on the way home. Sounds so blasé that doesn't it. But we really were that good at the time. I went to Wembley 5 times in 15 months. And yes, that lad to my left is smoking a spliff.?
